How to Easily Cut Out Ricker's Tongue in Resident Evil Requiem

To cut off a licker's tongue with a hatchet, follow these steps:

Obtain the Mortal Edge Hatchet by defeating the Commander or purchasing it for 3,000 CP.
Playing as Leon, use the Licker to shoot the bioweapon pod in the Stockroom (ARK – Leon Part 1). Alternatively, lure the licker from Bioweapon Repository 11 (ARK – Leon Part 2).
With Mortal Edge equipped in your inventory, step back so the Licker can make a ranged attack (using its tongue).
Pressing L1 will cause Liker to reveal his tongue for a perfect block.
Mortal Edge's increased block window allows you to block the tongue and, if done correctly, will cut off the tongue.

If you're still having trouble timing your parries, practice makes perfect. Mortal Edge Hatchet makes it easy for you to achieve your desired achievements through perseverance.

If you keep your distance, the licker is more likely to attack you with his tongue.So make sure they are aware of you, but swing your arms and keep yourself out of reach.

This should only be attempted as Leon, as Grace cannot block or carry the hatchet! You can only attempt this in the first part of the ARK before entering the Central Recharge System room and the second part of the ARK just before the elevator in the Bioweapon Repository 11 room.
