How to Get 3 Stars in Arc Raiders' Week 5 Trial

in arc radarThere's plenty to do while exploring the dangerous wasteland. Between looting, completing quests, and fighting other players, there are plenty of ways to earn high-tier loot and rewards.

One method that is sometimes overlooked is completing a weekly trial. This means that if you achieve 3 stars in one of the 5 challenges, you will be rewarded with a guaranteed epic tier item. Additionally, you can earn various cosmetic items as you rise through the ranks, making these trials well worth your time.

Here's a rundown of how to get 5 stars in all Week 5 trials of Arc Raiders.

Keep in mind that you have to actually extract it to calculate your progress! Additionally, Trials only cares about your highest score during a single raid. None of this is cumulative!

Damage Rocketeer Trial

Players who earned 3 stars in Week 5 Trials for the Arc Raiders.

Naturally, to complete this test you will need to damage or destroy the Rocketeer. To get 3 stars, you must completely destroy one Rocketeer and then damage a second Rocketeer by half its health during a night raid or electromagnetic storm. To be safe, we recommend destroying only two Rocketeers. This takes the guesswork out of whether you've actually reached the 3-star threshold and done enough damage.

I recommend completing it in Dam Battlegrounds. This is because two Rocketeers spawn fairly close to each other in the northwest part of the map. One has a chance to appear right next to the North Complex Elevator, and the other has a chance to appear just south of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. If you're having trouble finding annexes to destroy, you can also find Rocket Pilots lurking around the test annexes.

To achieve this, I brought 3 Wolfpack grenades and an anvil. Two well-placed Wolfpack grenades are enough to instantly kill a Rocketeer, while a third will weaken the second Rocketeer. The Anvil is primarily there to help finish off this enemy in case the Wolfpack Grenades don't do their job for some reason.

Arc Raiders: Best Loot Farming Locations

Here are some of the best places to farm loot in Arc Raiders.

Download data during hidden bunker testing

Players who earned 3 stars in Week 5 Trials for the Arc Raiders.

This is probably the most frustrating test of the week. You will need to download data during the Spaceport's Hidden Bunker event.. This means that not only do you have to complete the antenna portion of this event, but you also have to enter the bunker and retrieve data through the computers in the bunker.

If you've never played the Hidden Bunker event, we've put together a full walkthrough you can use to complete it. But the short version is that you interact with the antennas marked on the map in each corner of the Spaceport, go to the hidden bunker to the southwest, start the download on your computer, wait for it to complete, and then retrieve the data.

There are a total of 8 computers that can download data, but you only need to download from at least 5 of them. This is easier said than done, as the limited number of computers forces you to fight with other players over who will actually retrieve your data.

It's a good idea to do this in solo, as people are generally friendlier and less inclined to blast anyone they see. Although safe in numbers, Trios is almost always a bloodbath. Especially during this event.

First Wave Husk Trial Search

Players who earned 3 stars in Week 5 Trials for the Arc Raiders.

In this trial version You'll need to search for the destructible remains of ARC enemies scattered across the map. These include a large Baron roughly the size of a queen, a gray cylindrical ARC as large as a rocket pilot, and remains the size of a wasp.

All of these must be breached and searched to be included in the test, and the experience gained is determined by the size of the shells you loot. You always want to find the Baron, but in this trial it's honestly easier to attack multiple small to medium Husks.

I recommend completing it at The Blue Gate. Specifically in the southeastern part of the map (shown above), between an ancient fortress and a warehouse complex. This is the first wave Husk graveyard, and I was able to get 3 stars in the trial just by wandering around the area during the day and looting all the ARC ruins.

Keep in mind, this area is quite exposed, so you risk breaking this shell just by standing out in the open. That's why we recommend completing this trial with the free kit. This is because there is no real loss if you die and you don't really need to bring anything to make completing this task easier.

To complete the trial during the day, I attacked about 8-10 first wave husks of various sizes. Obviously doing it at night or during an electromagnetic storm will reduce this number, but it can be easily wiped out during the day.

Damage Snitch Trial

Players who earned 3 stars in Week 5 Trials for the Arc Raiders.

Another very self-explanatory test, in this one all you have to do is destroy or damage the Snitch. Similar to Rocketeer. It is recommended to complete this task during a night raid or electromagnetic storm. This greatly reduces the number of Snitches you have to kill. Depending on whether you're solo or shooting alone, you'll want to destroy 7 or 8 Snitches.

The map I chose is the spaceport on the roof of the departure building. This provides excellent visibility on several snitch paths and is easily defended since there are only a few ways up. Hospital Rooftop or Grandioso Apartments are also great alternatives to Buried City.

For weapons we suggest Ferro, Renegade or Anvil. This provides enough range and stopping power to easily take down the Snitch. Remember that the white panels on its body are its weak point, so you should always aim for a quick kill.

Additionally, it's a good idea to take a Lure Grenade with you in case the Snitch calls for reinforcements before you kill it!

Deals damage to ground-based ARC enemies.

Players who earned 3 stars in Week 5 Trials for the Arc Raiders.

This trial version can be a bit unstable at times, but it is very simple. Basically, you just need to inflict enough damage or destroy a ground-based arc. These include Fireballs, Poppers, Ticks, Queen, Matriarch, Leapers, Bastion, and Bombardiers. You'll want to focus only on Bastions and Bombardiers. Because these are much more consistent than getting the best score and damaging the Queen or Matriarch.

Blue gates during night raids or electromagnetic storms are what I did. This is because you can almost always find the fort in the tunnel north of the checkpoint, and the Bombardier south of town. If you don't have a Matriarch or Queen, another Bastion may spawn in the center of the map. Destroying at least two of these per night will give you enough points to get you over the three-star threshold.

Similar to Rocketeer, but If possible, you'll want to load up Wolfpack grenades. Two or three of these will kill one of these enemies almost instantly. Alternatively, if you have the money to spend, you can always buy a Hulkcracker for 30,000 and use it to destroy these enemies with ease.

Leapers are a decent alternative, but they won't give you as many points as the aforementioned ARCs. Blaze grenades are your best friend for killing them. This is especially true if you can stand in the fire for more than a few seconds. If worst comes to worst, you can kill Fireball and Poppers at any time, but this is not a reliable method and should only be used to add points when necessary.
