Lockdown is a late-game event in Dire Marsh that requires an anti-virus pack. marathon. Anti-virus packs are essential for containment. Because without a vaccine, you will slowly (but surely) die from toxic damage.

How to get and use an antivirus pack
Antivirus packs can be purchased from the MIDA faction's upgrades. Get the Rank 5 tab for 1,500 credits and x23 Unstable Lead. After purchasing the upgrade, go to the MIDA section of the Armory and purchase the Anti-Virus Pack.
Alternatively, you can find anti-virus packs from various loot sources, but they are often not tied to a single map or POI. This means that without the MIDA Faction Upgrade you will have to rely on RNG.
The antivirus pack is “Buffer against hostile data corruption” and will display a yellow bar above your health on the HUD. This only applies to the Lockdown event in Dire Marsh and will be explained in more detail below.
What is the lockdown for the marathon (and how to complete it)?

The closure is only possible at Dire Marsh.

A “Lockdown” event may begin approximately 10 minutes after the match ends.

The POIs are listed in Lockdown, but you can also look for POIs with a square around them and view them on the map.

Lockdown can only be achieved with a consumable anti-virus pack.

You need to look around the area where the Lockdown Drive is and insert it into the blue terminal.

Enemies will start spawning, and killing them all will reveal loot in a blue terminal.

You can get another Lockdown Drive from the blue terminal, which you can use for the next Lockdown event that will spawn in 5 minutes.

You can repeat this one more time to get the highest tier loot.
The blockade event can occur randomly after about 10 minutes only in Dire Marsh. Entering Lockdown requires an anti-virus pack, which involves locating the Lockdown Drive, interacting with the terminal, and killing enemies.
After a Lockdown, you'll get some awesome loot in your terminal, and you can use that loot to start another Lockdown. This Lockdown has more difficult enemies, but also better loot. You'll be fighting UESCs (and some Runners), so it's a good idea to bring plenty of healing items, ammo, and anti-virus packs.
