However, there are no long-term consequences if you fail, as you can retake the assessment as many times as you like until you pass it. In fact, the only incentive to pass it first time (other than the time saved by doing so, of course) is a unique line of dialogue in which Rika points out that the player passed on the first try, and is the first person to do so since Nemona.
