The anime released its third episode some time ago, in which Xylo Forbartz and his group take on the responsibility of rescuing the miners trapped inside with the monster. Considering how the previous episode ended on a cliffhanger, viewers were definitely curious to know how Xylo and the heroes were doing.

They killed many monsters, but more vicious beings kept appearing. At some point, the Demon Lord Lotus appeared and began attacking the miners and heroes. The heroes were low on energy, but fortunately Theorita came at the right time. She used her powers to defeat several enemies and provide the heroes with much-needed relief. The Demon Lord Lotus also made a noise so sharp that it caused tinnitus among the heroes, and the miners lost their senses and began walking towards the creature. Since Tatsuya was unaffected by the noise, Xylo decided to support him from afar. Tatsuya eventually succeeds in destroying the body, but it is soon revealed that it is a fake.

Norgalle had to make great sacrifices

Afterwards, Nogale decided to take matters into his own hands and launched a massive blast of flame, burning the Demon King's appendage. However, his leg got caught and he was hanging upside down. Everything was pointing towards the end for the hero and the miners, but Norgalle did not give up. Knowing that the Demon King's actual body was beneath him, he began cutting off his trapped legs. When Nogale was finally freed, he slashed the demon lord's body with his blade, saving everyone else in the process.

Episode 4 of Judgment of Heroes will air on January 29th.

Episode 4 of The One Sentenced to Be a Hero is scheduled to be released on January 29, 2026.. The episode title is “Standby Order: Mu'urid Hold.” Despite the surprising victory, the heroes won't be given much time to rest. Instead, they may end up at Fortress Murid. Considering the tempo of the animation, episode 4 won't feel long. Fans can also expect to see a lot more action.

In Episode 4, Sentenced to become heroes, Xylo and Teoritta may be tasked with defending a Muurid fortress somewhere in the kingdom. Nogale stopped participating in the expedition after losing his leg in the fight with the Demon King. Instead, Benetim Leoful will accompany Xylo. An episode may be action-packed, but viewers will want to see some progress in terms of the overall story. It would be ideal if the new episodes gave viewers more insight into the lives of Xylo and the other heroes.

Kibia is a character that fans should pay attention to as she has proven that she is different from the top brass. When the priest threatens to reprimand the heroes, it is Kibia who decides to save them, making it clear that she is not morally corrupt. After witnessing Xylo rescue the miner and reunite him with his family, it's possible that Kivia's perception of him may finally begin to change. If that happens, Kivia can help Xylo clear his name and uncover the people behind the plot to bring him down.
