All Mutants in Grounded 2 The Toxic Tangle

As mentioned earlier, there have been many changes to the mutation system, and now players will always have a passive mutation and up to four active mutations at the same time. As for the new mutations in the Toxic Tangle update, here's a full rundown of how to unlock them and what their effects are:

Bardic inspiration

This returning mutant from Grounded is the star of the show. Ground 2: Toxic tangle; Requires finding major bugs to unlock. Players must find and kill 10 crickets. Getting this mutation to pop up on your character is well worth it despite the difficult unlock conditions.

Bardic Inspiration causes every bow shot to have a chance to buff friendly players and buggies through the following effects:

When attacking with a bow or longbow, there is a 20% chance to increase the attack power of the player and nearby allies by 15% for 10 seconds.
A perfect shot with a bow or longbow increases the critical strike chance of the player and nearby allies by 5% for 10 seconds.
Dodge has a 20% chance to increase health regeneration for you and nearby allies by 25% for 10 seconds.

On the other hand, once the mutant reaches level 3, Evasion triggers a similar effect, which is a nice additional feature to have. But here's where the real problem arises. Players can become the team's healer/bard by combining the new Cricket Lute Bow with the Cricket Armor Set. You can also alternately use Discord, a modified version of the bow, to apply debuffs to enemies instead of buffing and healing allies.

Wizards in Grounded 2 can use Candy Staves to deal elemental damage to enemies, buff their status, and engage from afar.

Sour Sensation

This new survival perk allows players to resist the effects of new environmental hazards present in Brookhollow Park: Sour Tang. This acid puddle-like status effect corrodes armor and reduces the armor of both the player and the buggy. The same goes for enemy bugs. Because it allows you to try out new Tang-based weapons (especially the new Mage Staff, Acid Ruin).

Sour Sensation Unlocked by eating Sour Lumps.. Consuming 10 unlocks the highest level of this mutation, which has the following effects when activated:

Reduces tank buildup rate by 25%/40%/50% (levels 1, 2, 3).
Level 3: Immune to the durability drain effect of Tang Build-Up.

Consider that this perk will be extremely necessary while exploring the tang-covered areas of the greenhouse, croquet court, vegetable garden, and pumpkin patch.

This update adds (or, more accurately, improves) two other mutants: the Hauling Hero and the Whittle Wizard.
