Ghost Of Yotei fans are still asking for transmogrification and more loadout slots.

The long-awaited New Game Plus mode for Ghost of Yotei has finally been released. For those looking for a bit more replayability in the game, it provides an outlet to slice and dice enemies to your heart's content. Not only does the game have a new armor set, a new graphics mode, and a number of quality-of-life improvements, but you can also replay the challenge content as many times as you want now to really test your fighting skills and play the role of a lone samurai.

Unfortunately, although this New Game Plus mode has been highly anticipated, there are quite a few fans who feel it's a bit lacking, and they still think Ghost of Yotei is missing a lot of key features that would have made the game more enjoyable.

Ghost Of Yotei fans are still asking for transmogrification and more loadout slots.

In posts discussing new updates and modes on the PS5 subreddit, there are quite a few people who are disappointed that certain features are not included. For example, user Raithian25 was disappointed that the update did not include a horse canter, and was annoyed that it “walks at glacial speed or gallops at the speed of light.”

Another user named Chaosbleeds91 was upset that the update only added one new loadout slot, saying he wanted to “at least have the option to have a loadout for every armor set.” This is also a fairly popular complaint, with other users calling it a “baffling decision” not to include it further.

However, one of the most popular complaints in the thread is that Ghost of Yotei lacks a transmogrification system, which has become increasingly common in big budget RPGs over the years. (Sigh) A user named Queef-Elizabeth said she wished she had the ability to “wear different things without having to swap out the stats and abilities that come with the gear.” Another user named GrimMrGoodbar was annoyed that “too many armors have useless assassination stats,” and resented having to stick with armor he didn't actually want to use.

Of course, Sucker Punch doesn't seem to be finished with Ghost of Yotei yet, so we may see these little features added in a future update. We'll have to wait and see how much post-launch support Sucker Punch actually wants to add to the game, and we've got our fingers crossed that at least a few of these complaints will show up somewhere on the list.
