Fable fans are sharing their favorite NPCs who are married.

Last month, Xbox gave us some good information about the new Fable that will be released this fall. It was a great exploration of gameplay that revealed all the Fable mechanics we've come to expect from the series. You could become a landlord, chase chickens, and wear clothes, but the big problem was that you could live with and marry any of the game's many NPCs.

Getting married, starting a family, and then forgetting about them and abandoning them is a typical part of Fable, and it's such a common experience that almost everyone in the fanbase has their favorite NPC. Thanks to the recent in-depth gameplay of the new Fable, fans are now reminiscing about Fable.

Fable fans are sharing their favorite NPCs who are married.

Earlier this week on the Fable subreddit, a user named Eat_Ur_Veggies revealed that he was married to the same Bowerstone NPC over and over again as a child, and that he seemed to have a crush on this one woman. It's a wholesome thing to do, but many people have started sharing their favorite marriages from their time playing the game.

Players prepare to battle a giant cockatrice in Fable.

It's official – Fable Reboot will not be part of the original trilogy and multiplayer functionality will be discontinued

Fable is officially leaving the original trilogy behind, as the reboot tells its own story.

For example, user RuairiJHB simply says “Lady Gray or Bust,” which is a choice I can absolutely respect. Even the OP claimed that Lady Gray was a “top ten choice” to marry, while a user named NotSynthx says she is “so hot you can forgive her human rights violations.” Some people think that if someone is hot enough, they can get away with anything.

Then there's a more interesting marriage choice, as user Elite8niner says he only married prostitutes in Fable 2. Because literal prostitutes love to be queens. There are a few deviants out there who admit to trying to find all the women of the night they can, but I guess it wouldn't be a fable without a little bit of deviance.

For example, a user named JiggleTheBiggles (check the name) explains that he always married the barber from Bowerstone South in the original Fable because of his two huge assets, literally. They then explain that they had to break into a house in the middle of the night to be able to get married, and that there is a love story only heard about in the fable games. Let's hope the new game can spark some wacky romance, too.
