It's February. You know what that means. The video game holiday lull is coming to an end, and studios are getting ready to reveal what they have in store for us in the future. Following Xbox's sensational Developer Direct, this year's first Nintendo Direct was born. Well, this is the first Nintendo Direct of the year, after the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream showcase and the mini-directs for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
I can't believe they still haven't shown us the Wario movie.
Today's Direct isn't your typical Nintendo presentation. This is a partner showcase. That means if you go in thinking of getting a glimpse of the next 3D Mario game, you're going to be disappointed. This Direct is dedicated to third-party studios bringing games to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with quite a few games rumored to be in the pipeline for the latter of those.
If you watched it live and need a refresher, or you missed the Direct and need to check back, below you can find everything that was revealed, resurfaced, and announced during the February Partner Showcase.
February Nintendo Direct: Everything Revealed at the Partner Showcase
orbit
The Partner Showcase began with a more in-depth look at: orbitLast year's co-op adventure was created in the style of 1980s animation. Now we know that the game will be releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch system this summer.
Paranomasite: The Mermaid's Curse
The first new games in Direct are: Paranomasite: The Mermaid's Curse. It's an unexpected sequel to the acclaimed first game in the series, and is scheduled for release soon, on February 19, 2026.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters
Sticking with sequels, the next release slate was the sequel, World Fighters. captain tsubasa 2. If you liked the first game or like animated soccer, this might be the game for you.
Tokyo Scramble
If you're looking for a game that mixes Capcom's Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, Tokyo Scramble It might be right up your alley. It's a horror game where you have to navigate your way through using creative methods to eliminate the Zinos before they get there first (no typos). It launches exclusively on Switch 2 on February 11, 2026.
Valheim
Switch from a game that hasn't been released yet to a game that many people have already played. Valheim. After all, the exploratory Viking hit wasn't on Nintendo consoles yet. That all changes in 2026 for Switch 2, but there's no exact release date yet.
Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Did you not fully enjoy Hollow Knight through Silksong? The good news is that a Switch 2 edition of the original game is coming. Even better, it's scheduled to release later today, and if you already own the original on Switch, you can upgrade for free.
EA Sports FC rival eFootball is expanding its reach and coming to Switch 2. The Nintendo version of the game has been named eFootball Kick Off, meaning it will probably be slightly different from the versions of the game available on other platforms.
Elliot's Adventures: Millennium Tales
Elliot's Adventures is one of the most exciting games coming to Switch 2 this year. It's a top-down RPG from Square Enix studio, so it's likely to be pretty good, and now we know when it'll be released: June 18, 2026.
Super Bomberman Collection
The Super Bomberman Collection, releasing later today, is a collection of games from the series released on Super Nintendo. There are five in total, including the newest three, which have never been released in North America. It is available digitally starting today, with a physical release scheduled for August.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to Switch 2 this year.
Just a few weeks after Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally arrived on Switch 2, we already know when its journey on the platform will continue. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to Switch 2 on June 3, 2026, and pre-orders begin today. Remember. Part 3 will not be a PlayStation exclusive at launch. That means it could release on Switch 2 the same day as everywhere else.

Capcom appears to be completely unprepared to set benchmarks for what third-party games could be on the Switch 2. We already knew that the upcoming space adventure Pragmata would be releasing on Switch 2. The new look we received in today's Direct showed off how the puzzles work and how the characters work together.
Turok: Origins
We didn't show much. Turok: Origins Since its release in 2024 (apart from the surprising appearance of Funko Pops), it's been surprising to see it featured in a partner showcase. There is now also a fall 2026 release window.
Kyoto Xanadu
Kyoto Xanadu A mix of genres, will be released this summer. It was a tricky game to decide on, with 2D platforming, RPG boss battles, and even hints of a dating sim. If any or all of those resonate with you, it might be something worth checking out that might otherwise have flown under the radar.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
Last year's Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming to Switch and Switch 2 on July 10, 2026. Another game in today's Direct that feels tailor-made for Nintendo fans, and it's hard to believe it wasn't on the Switch or Switch 2 yet. At least that's about to change, and you'll be able to play it on a platform that looks like it was made this summer.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok
You can get more Granblue Fantasy: Relink the day before you download Digimon on Switch. Endless Ragnaork was revealed in a showcase today for Switch 2, a version of the game featuring Eustace and Beatrix.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections
Monster Hunter fans were able to claim a victory following last year's Monster Hunter Wilds. It won't be coming to Switch 2, but it will be coming to Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and now we know when: March 13, 2026. It's a more cartoonish take on the Monster Hunter series that isn't as demanding as the mainline games, so there's no risk of annoying performance issues.
Arcade Archives 2 and Console Archives
Not only are you getting Rave Racers in Arcade Archives 2, but today's showcase also included the announcement of a brand-new collection, Console Archives. Kicking off the new collection are Ninja Gaiden 2 and Cool Boarders, both available starting today.

A new look at Scott Pilgrim Ex, the game's sequel as the name suggests, kicked off the Direct segment where we were shown quite a few games in quick succession. There is nothing new here, just a reminder that the release date is imminent.
Another Eden begins
Following Scott Pilgrim's lead, we'll take a quick look at some more RPG goodness. Another Eden begins It's coming to Switch and Switch 2 this summer.
raising animals again
If you like horror, here's a timely reminder that if you own a Switch 2, you can use it to play Reanimal, which has been delayed until 2025. Reanimal is one week away from release.
WWE 2K26
Even though it was relegated to the highlight reel, it was a big deal for wrestling fans. WWE 2K26 It will be available on Switch 2 on March 13, 2026. This marks the first time in nine years that a Nintendo version of a WWE game has been released on the same day as another console.
Star Trek: Voyager – The Uncharted World
Star Trek games have never really escaped the fandom, but that doesn't matter. If you're a part of that fandom, today's Direct includes a very brief look at Star Trek: Voyager – Across The Unknown.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Switch 2 Edition
Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of those games that, if you weren't invested enough, you might have forgotten it even existed. A game that lets you explore Disney's magical world is coming to the Switch 2 Edition.
PGA Tour 2K25
Finally, Nintendo can bring back its annual sports games, and it actually looks good. Here's another quick look at PGA Tour 2K25, which is coming to Switch 2 this year.
Culdcept begins
The reveal of the new Culdcept game may have been one of the most surprising reveals of today's Direct. Culdcept beginsIt appears to have been revealed out of nowhere and will be released on Switch and Switch 2 on July 16, 2026.
Goat Simulator 3
This is another game that feels like it was custom-made for a Nintendo console but doesn't actually come with it. Goat Simulator 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. It's a game that lets you live the life of a goat, as it says on the tin, but that life might not be as simple as you think.
Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun
Sometimes you may have to wait a while for the game to appear on your chosen platform. That's definitely true from the fans' point of view. Shadow Tactics: Blade of Shogun, Ten years after it was first released, it's finally coming to Switch.

Tales of Arise Coming to Switch 2 Beyond the Dawn Edition. It includes additional content and will be released on the platform in May.
Resident Evil Requiem
As expected, considering how close the release date is, Resident Evil Requiem has been shown off once again. Now let's take another look at Grace and Leon's gameplay. Now we know he's in on the game (as if we never were). It also included a notice that Resident Evil 7 and Village are releasing on Switch 2 on the same day, and gave us our first look at Grace and Leon's amiibo.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition
The final reveal in today's Direct was confirmation that Bethesda would be bringing several games to Switch 2. The first is the Anniversary Edition of Fallout 4. We already knew, but now that the Switch 2 release date is set for February 24, 2026, we know we won't have to wait long to play it.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
But that's not all. Also from Bethesda, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is coming to Switch 2. We already knew that part, but now we know it will be released on May 12, 2026.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered
And one more thing! The #3 Bethesda game was Oblivion Remastered, a Switch 2 port we didn't know about. Shadow Drop, which was a huge hit when it launched on all other platforms in 2025, will be available on Switch 2 at some point in 2026.
