ARC Raiders is a very different kind of extraction shooter that focuses much more on the environmental aspects of PvPvE. Robot enemies in the game Scattering around Topside is no cakewalk, many of them deadlier than an entire group of Raiders. yet new playerIt can be difficult to gauge their power unless you confront them head-on, which results in many deaths. We underestimate their power.
It may seem overwhelming at first, but with enough knowledge, this scary ARC can become quite trivial. Some have very distinct weaknesses that can be easily exploited, while others have specific strategies that can make combat much simpler. Even with these skills in mind, these enemies should always be respected. Because players can return to Speranza in no time without their hard-earned loot.
rocketeer
Hell rains from the sky
rocketeer ARC is one of the deadliest ARCs in the entire game, and players continue to underestimate just how powerful it is. As the most bloodthirsty robots in Server Slam, Rocketeers can be incredibly problematic if encountered in the wild. They are incredibly fast, merciless, and deal enough damage to take down players with just a few rockets, forcing them to seek cover indoors or risk falling over.
The reason many players underestimate how difficult Rocket Pilot is is because they can be comfortable taking out individual Wasps or Hornets without much trouble. So when they see another flying enemy, many people assume that a few well-placed shots will be enough to knock them out of the sky. In fact, their entire bodies are heavily armored, meaning that many low-level weapons are virtually useless for breaking through and doing any meaningful damage. So new players will need to choose their battles carefully and bring back more powerful guns and a few higher-tier grenades before taking on the flying enemies.
mister
save that bullet
mister These are seemingly weaker enemies that players will encounter. ARC RaidersBut their fragile exterior hides deadly explosives that can easily ruin a Raider's day. Found on many large structures around the map, Pops patrol for intruders and quickly turn red if nearby players get too close. Once attacked, it's only a matter of time before Pops speeds away and bursts into flames, causing massive damage and burning anyone nearby.
In most cases, this isn't that big of a deal since they have no external armor and can be taken out with just a few shots from basically any weapon. However, if you sneak past the player's bullets or catch them while reloading, Pops' damage can significantly reduce his health bar or even kill him straight away. New intruders must exercise caution when entering a building. If you're not careful, one explosion could spell the end.
wasp
deadly in numbers
wasp Although they are the most common enemies players will encounter in Topside, their abundance says nothing about their overall power. Typically found flying around searching for solitary raiders, Wasps often roam in groups or may be accompanied by larger ARCs such as Hornets, making them much more difficult for players to deal with. However, wasps can be very annoying even on their own. This is because it can quickly grab a player and deal massive damage even while under attack.
What makes wasps more deadly is how difficult they are to attack. Even if you lower your thrusters and it's smoking out of the sky, it will continue to track and barrage you with bullets. Additionally, many new players may instinctively run inside to heal or avoid a wasp attack, without realizing that they may fly through a door or window. This means that no matter where players are, they must keep their wits about them as a single Wasp can easily float by and deal the finishing blow to a weakened Raider.
Rippers
The distance is not too far
Rippers It's pretty scary and you can see it all over the map. ARC RaidersIt moves around like a mechanical spider, keeping an eye on nearby movements. Players who are just starting the game may look at it from a distance and try to weaken it or test their guns, but this could easily be their final mistake. With seemingly no effort at all, Leapers can jump hundreds of meters both horizontally and vertically, quickly closing distances.
They are unable to fit into almost any structure, no matter how small, due to their very simple size weakness. However, outdoors, they can attack from quite a distance, and once they set their sights on the player, they will continue to jump and run until there are none left. Thanks to the relatively large health pool, players will want to return with better grenades and guns before taking down the Leaper. This is because without the right set of gear, ammo supplies can deplete, leaving players defenseless against the Leaper's relentless attacks.
sentinel
Takes heavy damage from any distance
sentinel They are very rare in the grand scheme of things and are only found in set locations in the hotter areas of the map. They act as sniper turrets that scan the area for raiders looking for loot, and once they've finished shooting, they can deal heavy damage from a considerable distance. Up close, they don't pose much of a threat, as players can easily use cover to avoid shots, and their health pool isn't large enough to require a large ammo investment.
However, if a new player doesn't know what the Sentinel's laser means or chooses to ignore it completely, they will quickly regret it and feel the power of the ARC attack. Since they can only rotate and not actually move, players should have no problem finding good angles to take cover and eliminate them. Be careful, though, as a single sniper shot can heal you before you're safe. You can also alert nearby players who like to clean up injured raiders and take their loot.
