Dispatch fans were almost unanimous in who they would cut from Team Z if given a choice other than Sona and Coupe, and we're guessing that's who they're thinking of.
While most people seem to think Dispatch's hardest choice is whether to choose to date the Invisigal or the Blonde Blazer, the real highlight of the game actually comes one episode ago. While Robert was acclimating to Team Z, he was asked to leave either the Sonar or the Coupe off the roster.
Who you actually choose has a pretty big and noticeable impact on Dispatch's story, making it a memorable moment that isn't talked about enough to make shipping take up most of the conversation. But one thing most fans agree on is that both Sonar and Coop deserve better, and there's actually someone else who should be on the chopping block.
Everyone thinks Flambae should be left off Team Z in Dispatch.
But then you wouldn't get his iconic single, “I'm AB**ch, My Name Is Robert.”
On the Dispatch subreddit, JimHFD103 asked a question that couldn't believe it took so long to reach the community. While Dispatch forced them to choose whether to cut Sonar or Coupe, JimHFD103 asked if everyone cut from the Z-Team was given free reign, pointing out that Robert would have absolutely wanted to cut Flambae at that point in the game.
The fact that Dispatch isn't actually a game is what makes it Game of the Year.
Adhoc Games has advanced the Telltale formula in surprising ways with Dispatch.
I'm sure you can guess where this is going, but the thread was almost unanimous that Flambae was a solid candidate to be left off the team. Not only is he the toughest character in Dispatch, but he's also likely to get cut, as he obviously starts firing on himself and then corrects it to increase his position on the leaderboard.
That doesn't even count all of the fights you have to do with Robert, where he almost dies if you choose to reveal that he's Mecha Man. Of course, Sonar and Coop also try to kill Robert when they team up with the Shroud later in the game, but that's actually resolved and dealt with at the end, while Flambae's actions just falter.
Interestingly, the second most talked about character is Invisigal. Many argue that she failed to make much of an impression in the first episode and actually remained at the bottom of the leaderboard until the final moments. But plot armor.
Almost everyone in the thread agrees that the Flambae is the only real choice for the Z-Team cut and is much more worth kicking out than the Sonar or Coupe. As long as we all agree that Punch-Up, Golem, Prism, Malevola, and Waterboy are absolutely banned, I'm happy.
