As Infinity Castle Part 2 gets closer, expectations are high for new information drops at the Studio Ufotable event. As expected, this Ufotable event was an exciting event that exceeded many fans' expectations. The studio has revealed several major projects, such as a new teaser for the Genshin Impact anime. However, it was a disappointing result for Demon Slayer fans. while Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 The only update fans got was that the film is still in the works at Ufotable. Considering that this film is still in production, a 2026 release is automatically impossible. If it comes out in 2026, fans would have at least received confirmation and major promotional details by now.

Given that a major 2026 movie has been officially confirmed, Demon Slayer fans now know that Infinity Castle Part 2 is no longer coming. Ufotable doesn't handle more than two major movie releases a year. Especially with other projects I'm working on. If Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 is coming out with Paladin's Witch, Ufotable would have made that clear at the event.

Amid much speculation, the only thing that can be said with absolute certainty is that it won't drop in 2026. 2027 would be the perfect time for this film to be officially released. Especially since the Demon Slayer TV anime will be rerun in July 2027. Either way, the wait is still long and fans will need to be patient and let the studio properly work on this new entry to put out the best product possible.
