Borderlands 4 Glitch Lets You Unlock Capstone For Free Without Investing In Anything Else

If you purchased Borderlands 4 at launch, you'll have already reached max level for all four Vault Hunters and earned the legendary guns. But let's say you bought it thanks to a recent Black Friday sale. You're probably trying to improve your rankings and still have a lot of skills left to unlock.

Borderlands 4 is a live offering of single-player clothing.

The similarities go deeper than first-person shooting.

The way the skill tree in Borderlands 4 is generated, you have to spend enough points in one level to advance to the next level and eventually get the most powerful skills. Unfortunately, this system forces you to waste a lot of points on skills you don't really want or need. But it looks like someone discovered a glitch that allows you to get end-game skills and capstones without spending money on useless skills.

Borderlands 4 Skill Tree Glitches Explained

YouTuber Joltzdude139 has revealed how to unlock skills you don't yet have access to. Using Amon's Calamity skill tree, he explained that you would typically need to invest 26 skill points to get to the bottom, where the most powerful skills are. However, due to this glitch, you only need to invest 1 point in the skill of your choice.

To get started, you'll need to invest enough points into the skill tree to unlock the skill you want (in this case, Amon's Electrical Fire passive). While doing this, invest 2 points less than your points limit. So if you have 5 points, don't invest more than 3 points. After unlocking Electrical Fire and Stormcutter, the next step is to strip away the points you invested in getting there.

This step requires only one skill point available. If you have any spares, you can dump them into one of the other two skill trees. From here, go to the skill directly above the skill you want to unlock (Judgement in this case) and use the option to dump all your remaining points into the skill (press spacebar on PC). Then just hit the ‘Undo’ option.

This is where defects mostly occur. Instead of dropping to 3 points after undo, it drops to 2 points, but the Electric Shot skill will remain unlocked even if you don't have enough skills in the tree. Then, you just have to repeat the above process. At the end, you'll have unlocked your most powerful skills without having to spend any extra money to get there.

Of course, this glitch takes time and a few skill points to work, but it allows you to really customize your build without having to spend points on unnecessary skills.
