If you want to survive in a dangerous and fierce world arc radarYou will then have to scavenge everything from across the wasteland. Most of these items are used to improve stations or craft new equipment, but it's also a good idea to keep an eye out for items used in exploration projects.
Arc Raiders: Where to Find High-Quality Electrical Parts
Here's where you can find quality electrical components for all your Arc Raiders crafting needs.
One of them is a light bulb. You need 3 to pass level 3. Surprisingly, light bulbs can be a bit difficult to find if you don't know where to look. Here are some of my favorite places to find light bulbs:
Where to Find Light Bulbs
When looking for light bulbs, it's a good idea to focus your search on areas that may drop electricity-themed loot. Recommended places to search for light bulbs, designated by the lightning bolt icon, are:
- Power generation complex and substation on the dam battlefield
- Pilgrim's Peak at the Blue Gate
- vehicles that can be looted
Of the three maps listed: Dam Battlegrounds ended up being the best for me. This is thanks to the combination of the power generation complex in the north and the substation in the south. In the former case, Focus your search in the underground tunnel just below the main building. It's pretty dense with places to loot, and the control room to the east was especially good for me when looking for light bulbs.
on the other way, Electrical substations are much smaller in location, but seem to have a pretty high chance of generating light bulbs. Look for the small building north of this point of interest. This is because there are lootable containers or lockers that seem to have a higher chance of actually dropping a light bulb.
Pilgrim's Peak is another obvious location, especially with its various outlying buildings and towers. Light bulbs can also be found in underground control rooms, but this area is often filled with other electrical items such as wires, electrical components, sensors, and processors.
This location also has the added benefit of being mostly outside of the map's major conflict zones, making it a bit safer from PvP-oriented players.
finally, Lootable vehicles are surprisingly one of the best sources of light bulbs. Look for cars with the hood or back of the bus still intact. It is a fragile container so you can clean it. Some of my favorite places to loot cars, in particular, are the highways and parking lots in the Buried City, the Checkpoint in The Blue Gate, and the ruined road that runs through the center of the Dam Battlegrounds.
Remember that light bulbs cannot be purchased or crafted. So, always keep a close eye on your bulbs, even if you don't need three for your current expedition!
