Of the various reactions Genshin Impact players can utilize to defeat the enemies they face, Shatter has long been the least popular. This is because it defeats the purpose of Freeze, which is a reaction to trap enemies.

Genshin Impact: 8 Best Character Duos
Here are some tips on which characters pair up well when battling in Genshin Impact. This is our favorite duo.
Still, with units like Freminet being released and Shatter having the same scaling as Hyperbloom, some characters may work well with Shatter teams. From energy batteryling to buffs and damage dealing, here are the best Shatter characters in Genshin Impact.
9
Rosaria
Rosaria belongs to the Mondstadt church. However, despite her role, she does not appear to be much of a believer and often forgets the name of Barbatos, a god revered throughout Mondstadt. Her gameplay focuses on using Elemental Burst to deal large amounts of off-field Cryo damage and using Elemental Skills to attack Cryo teammates.
Both of these already make her a great fit for the Shatter team, applying Cryo and attacking the team. However, Rosaria takes this one step further by granting her teammates a critical strike rate buff after casting Burst and a physical DMG bonus after gaining the final constellation.

Seonheo
Shenhe is one of the first niche buffers released in Genshin Impact. She mainly buffs Cryo, who is one of the top supports on the Freeze team that includes Ayaka, Ganyu, or Wriothesley. The Cryo DMG bonus part of the kit is definitely the main selling point, but Shenhe can also significantly boost the damage of your team's physical attacks.

These tips will help you get the most out of Neuvillette in Genshin Impact.
This makes Shenhe a very solid choice for any Shatter team, buffing both physical and cryo damage to party members. Additionally, Shenhe's passive adds another buff on top of everything else, increasing the damage of the active character's normal attacks by a significant amount.
7
Beidou
Beidou is a great off-field DPS, providing AOE damage, a shield, and a bit of confusion in the form of Poise whenever his burst hits an enemy. She's great on any team and can compete with Fischl, but her AOE gives her an advantage over teams with Fischl when dealing with large numbers of enemies.
Poise is a damage type in Genshin Impact that staggers enemies, stunning them or knocking them back. This does not apply to bosses or larger enemies, but may work on Ruin Guards.
If you don't have units on your team that provide a lot of Energy or Favonius users, charging Beidou with batteries can be problematic, but if you can get Burst off cooldown, each of her Burst procs can trigger both Shatter and Superconductivity.
6
Mika
Released as a support to revive the physical archetype, Mika is considered essential for creating teams that focus on physical DMG capabilities. His Elemental Burst gives his active character an attack speed boost, allowing him to make more attacks and thus more damage and Shatter triggers, while his passive grants him a detector stat that boosts his physical DMG.
However, Mika has some notable weaknesses, including energy recharge issues and non-synergy with some physical carriers, including Eula. Whether you want Mika or not will depend on how many of his constellations you have access to, as this increases his usefulness tremendously.
If you're one of the lucky ones to have C6, Mika will suddenly become a staple on a team whose primary source of damage is physical.
5
Yelan
Yellan is an off-field hydro character that competes for the highest off-field damage in the game. While her damage output is high and her DMG buffs are helpful for active characters, her Hydro application loses out to Xingqiu, making her less useful in a solo Hydro team. Fortunately, Yelan uses Hydro just enough to be able to work alone on the Shatter team.

These polearm choices will help you get the most out of Zhongli.
She doesn't do much for the Shatter response. Yelan is a very good Hydro unit that can be part of the Shatter team and deal out a significant portion of the team's damage while activating Shatter's Freeze prerequisite.
4
Purina
For any team that wants a Hydro unit, Furina is always one of the best options. This is especially true for teams that do not require as many Hydro applications, such as the Hu Tao team. She offers a lot of personal damage and has one of the biggest damage buffs in the game, making her someone who can be helpful to any account.
This buff does not increase the damage of Shatter itself, but increases the DPS of the entire team. As long as you have enough healers like Mika to fill out Furina's Fanfare stack, a team that includes Furina can be the best Shatter team in Genshin.
3
razor
Maybe Razor isn't the best physical DPS. But if we've learned anything about this adorable wolf from the Thundering Furry team, it's that he shouldn't be underestimated. Of course, Razor's kit allows you to take full advantage of Shatter Reaction in a number of ways.

Pro Tips for Playing Genshin Impact: Chasca
A gun depends on the ability of the person using it.
You can build up his CRI on him to make him a damage dealer, but another, more fun way to utilize this reaction is to give Razor full Elemental Mastery like a Burgeon team would. However, instead of leaving Bennett with him, he teams up with Nahida, Rosaria, and Xingqiu.
Shatter scales from EM, so each of Razor's attacks can now trigger both Hyperbloom and Shatter, dealing an average of 70,000 damage per hit.
This team is not optimal and you will face many problems while piloting it. However, Razor may be the most consistent and highest scoring physical DPS, dealing over 30,000 physical DMG on each Shatter.
2
Yula
Eula is the only 5-star character in Genshin that was created with a physical archetype in mind. Her normal attacks deal a lot of damage, but the centerpiece of her kit is the Lightfall Sword, which is summoned during Elemental Burst, a massive nuke that deals damage based on how many times Eula hits the enemy before it goes off.
Eula's kit was created to get the most out of this Lightfall Sword. Her elemental skills grant her Grimheart stacks, making her difficult to interrupt, and both her normal attacks and elemental skills have a way to hit multiple times, giving her even more stacks. Even without any special synergy with Shatter itself, Eula's motion values are ridiculously high, so she slots in perfectly just because she's a Cryo character.
1
Preminet
One of the only physical carriages in Genshin Impact, Freminet competes for top spot alongside Eula and Razor. Fortunately, unlike pure Physical or Superconduct teams, Freminet has an advantage over the other two teams. This comes in the form of a passive that increases damage by a significant amount when Shatter is triggered.
This, combined with an already flexible kit, makes Freminet as good as Team Shatter's Eula once she reaches C6. He has more synergy with the archetype than any other character, and despite his lack of motion value, the benefits he gains from using Shatter make him a truly scary physical DPS.
