Developer Embark Studios has released a new update for its popular third-person extraction shooter. ARC Raiders. The latest patch, which includes several important bug fixes and balance adjustments to some keys, is available for download on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. ARC Raiders Weapons and items. After weeks of waiting, update 1.11.0 finally nerfed the controversial Trigger Nade, which has been dominating all PvP battles over the Christmas period.
The latest update was highly anticipated as it included balance tweaks, but fans were patiently waiting for another tease. ARC Raiders This skin was finally released as part of the Abyss cosmetic set. The full bundle can be purchased for 1,600 Raider Tokens and comes with a new skin, a new emote, and several other cosmetic items as seen in the image above. This particular outfit has caught the attention of players before. ARC Raiders It was also revealed because the pre-release trailer gave fans a glimpse of the skin. Fans were then left waiting for nearly three months with no word on when the costume would appear in the game. However, with update 1.11.0 now live on all platforms, the Abyss bundle has finally been released via the in-game store.
ARC Raiders players have discovered an even wilder method of cheating.
In another example of game theory in action, some cheaters have discovered a very ingenious way to gain an unfair advantage in ARC Raiders.
ARC Raiders finally nerfed Trigger Nade.
In addition to the highly anticipated new cosmetics set, the latest ARC Raiders The update also makes some big balance adjustments. According to the official patch notes, which can be found below this article, Embark Studios has rebalanced the item's damage reduction to focus damage closer to the center of the explosion and reduce damage farther away. The studio also increased the delay between the grenade triggering and detonating from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds. This gives players more time to react and makes it more difficult to time the grenade's explosion while it's in the air. With this nerf, Embark wants to make the Trigger Nade unusable as an “air trigger” grenade and more in line with its original intent.
One of the other major changes in the update is the reduction in the fire rate of one of the most popular weapons, the Kettle. ARC Raiders. After players began using macros to fire weapons at much faster speeds than humanly possible, many fans called on Embark to fix the problem as the weapons quickly began taking over lobbies. Now, in update 1.11.0, Embark has reduced the weapon's rate of fire from 600 to 450. The studio points out that previous fire rates were only realistically achievable by players using macros, which created an unfair dynamic that favored the use of third-party software.
However, one weapon that has not been touched is the Stitcher. Despite being one of the most common weapons in the game, some have found it to outperform much rarer weapons in the same category, such as the Bobcat. Embark previously said it was looking into new balance adjustments for Stitcher. ARC RaidersThere doesn't seem to be any changes to weapons in today's update. Fans were also disappointed by the minimal bug fixes in patch 1.11.0. That's because there are still tons of issues with the game, including players getting out of bounds in Stella Montis, voice chat crashing, and the infamous purchase reset bug.
With today's update, the Cold Wave and Flickering Flame events that started in the final update of 2025 last month have also ended. This event brought a new map modifier called Cold Snap. This modifier covers the map in snow and forces players to seek shelter or risk damage from the harsh environments outdoors. There are rumors that a new Toxic Swamp map modifier will be released as part of next week's new update, but as of this writing this has yet to be confirmed by Embark Studios.

Developer Notes: Trigger 'Nade is currently dominating PVP combat, with players preferring to pick it over all other grenades. The goal of this nerf is to reduce its usability as an “air-launched” grenade while maintaining its usefulness as a sticky bomb. The delay between grenade trigger and explosion has been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, giving players more time to react and making it more difficult to time the explosion in the air.
