portion ARC Raiders After a clip of a player struggling to escape a raider hatch while downed went viral, players are calling on Embark to fix the issue of being unable to climb small lips and ledges while in DBNO (down but not out). As of now, ARC Raiders Although it technically allows players to extract while in DBNO status, many players find this easier said than done.
As a PvPvE extraction shooting game, ARC Raiders'The gameplay is about extracting loot found during the match without dying to grab it. DBNO status provides: ARC Raiders Players have some buffer time after their health is depleted before they are officially considered dead and lose their inventory. During this period, the player can crawl to the extraction point and successfully escape with the loot, but their movement is slow and their health bar steadily decreases, making them officially dead.
Reddit user Nevborn980 posted a clip of his character attempting to use a radar hatch. ARC Raiders This subreddit has gained a lot of attention as other players are quick to share their similar experiences. One netizen pointed out, “It's not just a hatch, there's a lot of terrain that can be easily walked on, but for some reason it slips or walks in place,” and another netizen expressed the same opinion, saying, “This game has a problem with surfaces slipping.”
The Radar Hatch is intended as a way for players to quickly escape to the safety of Speranza if things get out of hand while at the top, provided they have the Radar Hatch Key. DBNO status seems like the perfect opportunity to use one of these hatches, provided players can reach the hatch before their health bar expires. Unfortunately, this hatch is much trickier to use while downed than usual, which somewhat defeats its purpose.
This game has issues with slipping surfaces.
but ARC Raiders Patch 1.2.0 increases the scope for player interaction, but it doesn't seem to have completely resolved the issue. As another Reddit user, Druidik, detailed in a separate post, you can access Raider Hatches while down, and the update makes it easier to do so. However, the player must still hit the hatch ledge at the correct angle to reach the hatch.
This seems like a step in the right direction, but it's ultimately still too much of a penalty for a downed raider to suffer when the raider hatch mechanism seems designed to be used in exactly this type of situation. We hope that the “slippery surface” issue will continue to be addressed as follows: ARC Raiders Get more updates.
