Initially, players were unable to mark all the rubber ducks in their inventory in Raider Den. However, that quickly changed with the 1.3.0 update released last month, allowing players to showcase their entire collection of rubber ducks in Raider Dens. Players quickly jumped at the opportunity to collect rubber ducks. ARC RaidersCompare flocks of ducks online. On Reddit, user BigBootyTom showed off Raider Den. ARC Raiders. Opening the locker, I found that all 280 slots were filled with 15 rubber duckies. That's a total collection of 4,200 ducks, taking up your entire in-game inventory. Players have made quick work of collecting trinkets. ARC RaidersBut few are as dedicated to the hunt as BigBootyTom. The way this is presented visually is also very interesting. Players sit on a bed in the Raider Den, and rubber duckies are placed throughout the space where they can fit. They fill the entire floor. They're sitting on a shelf. It's even on the bed. One user noted that the character “looks exhausted and even a little embarrassed” throughout the incident. It may not seem like there are 4,200 rubber ducks in the room, but ultimately it can be pretty hectic to look at.
But despite all the comical absurdity, BigBootyTom has no plans to stop collecting rubber ducks any time soon. Currently limited by storage limits ARC Raiders' The first expedition introduces an additional 12 stash slots. For most players, this is an opportunity to get more loot. For BigBootyTom, this is just a chance to get more rubber duckies. There are over 180 to be exact, with an additional 15 available in your inventory once the expedition begins. There's something fairly pure about the fact that players can sell any rubber ducky they have for 4,200,000 coins, choosing instead to keep their collection intact. It could be used as a distraction within the game as intended, but it isn't. Other people on the thread claimed to have done the same with ducks, but no one made the most of their stash like BigBootyTom.
One user shared another idea that would definitely be welcome in this thread. ARC Raiders Rubber duck connoisseur. “Rubber ducks need their own storage space so they can be displayed in a room, but they don’t take up your actual storage inventory.” Another user went a step further and argued that “everything that can be displayed in a room should have a label indicating this and should not be taking up space in a storage unit.” This will undoubtedly be great for those who enjoy collecting these trinkets in games, but there's something especially special about players consciously choosing to sacrifice their own trinkets. ARC Raiders Hidden space for a rubber duck. Perhaps without those sacrifices, this collection wouldn't have felt like such a feat.
