ARC Raiders Developer Embark Studios released a new patch for the third-person extraction shooter on December 11, bringing some significant fixes to the game ahead of next week's big Cold Snap update. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players can now download: ARC Raiders The 1.6.0 update also brings a new store rotation with new cosmetic items for players to get their hands on.
Even though I started smack bang in the middle Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, ARC Raiders It was a huge success with gamers. Embark's second title not only received rave reviews from critics and players, but also entered the Steam charts, becoming one of the most played games on the platform. Even after 6 weeks ARC Raiders It's still peaking at over 300,000 daily concurrent users on Steam, while its lowest figure is still over 100,000 active players. This also doesn't take into account users playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, so the actual numbers are likely to be much higher.
I spent 3 painful hours using only the ARC Raiders' worst weapons and I can confirm: Needs a buff.
There's some debate as to which ARC Raiders weapon is the best, but after using these weapons, I think I've found the answer to the question of which is the worst.
But that's not to say the Extraction shooter hasn't had its fair share of problems. Embark has already had to hotfix an issue that allowed players to enter locked rooms without the associated keycard, but the community has now discovered a way to get out of bounds on certain maps, such as the hugely popular Stella Montis. In the same game ARC Raiders If looting and surviving is part of your core gameplay loop, getting killed by another cheating player on your way out of the map can be incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, Embark now seems to have fixed the vulnerability with its latest update.
New ARC Raiders update fixes Stella Montis exploit
While doing the latest ARC Raiders Although the update does not contain any new content, it does have some important fixes that will make your gameplay experience much more enjoyable. According to the official patch notes, which can be found below this article, Embark has removed Stella Montis' zipline, which allowed players to go out of bounds. The studio also said that it fixed a collision issue that could cause players to jump or fall through walls in the Blue Gate, fixed a material issue that prevented several objects from firing bullets or blocking ARC vision, and fixed a collision gap in the Spaceport Launch Tower that could cause players to be shot through walls.
Embark also mentioned in the patch notes that they plan to change their update schedule from now on. while ARC Raiders New patches were received every Thursday, and the studio has announced that they will no longer be released on a weekly basis from now on. The new launch window and store rotation will shift from Thursday to Tuesday, but Embark says the team will take a much-needed break over the holidays and more updates are planned for January.
The good news is that players have received the highly anticipated Cold Snap update. ARC Raiders I look forward to next week. Embark is set to release an update on Tuesday, December 16th that includes new Snowfall map conditions, a new Raider Deck, a new event known as Flickering Flames, and the game's first Exploration Project departure window. The studio also mentioned in today's patch notes that the update will include various fixes.
