New updates for: arc radar It's just been released, and since winter is just around the corner, you might want to pack your snowshoes. Dubbed the “Cold Snap” update, it introduces new quests, map conditions, and the Flickering Flames event for players to complete.
Here's everything you need to know about the Flickering Flames event, which features new free content and standout cosmetics for all players to enjoy.
Cold wave event
Perhaps the biggest change is the new map conditions. This level is completely covered in snow and freezing winds. While this provides a striking visual impact, it also actually introduces new gameplay elements. Unlike most weather in Arc Raiders, If you stay outside for too long, a blizzard can directly harm your health.
If you stay in the snow too long, your health will start to deteriorate, so you'll need to move between covered shelters. You can tell by t when it will start to affect the Raider. They will begin to rub their hands, tremble, and their bodies will become covered in snow. To avoid these effects, go to a building and get warm.
It's easy to tell when it's activated as the Raider's eyes will begin to melt, indicating he is no longer in frostbite. Not all old shacks are the same, as some do not provide enough insulation to keep you warm. Pay attention to the characters. Because if your character is still shaking, you can take damage too.
You can even find a pile of snowballs, make snowballs and throw them at people! They don't actually do anything, but who doesn't love a good snowball fight?
Arc Raiders: Staking Claims Event Guide
Loot, shoot, and show off your cool.
flickering flame project
The event's biggest driving force, the Flickering Flames project, tasks you with completing a series of expedition-like tasks to donate items to the celebration. This includes a variety of materials you may have seen before, including empty wine bottles, sturdy fabric, and plastic. Not surprisingly, this means that many of the items you never thought you needed suddenly have a real use and you have a reason to hold on to them.
Below are details on each step and what to do next.
|

|
Step 1 |
20 Candleberry 5 sturdy cloth 1 empty wine bottle 25 plastic parts |
|

Remember that if you commit something to this event, you will lose it permanently. So make sure you can spare the materials you actually find. Fortunately, many of these don't have many alternative uses, so you can safely commit them without worrying about needing them later. additionally, Completing each individual stage earns you Merits, Raider Tokens, and real-world items that you can use in raids!
Where to Find Candleberries
Candleberry is a new event-specific material introduced in this update. Exclusively tied to the Cold Snap event, To complete this event from start to finish, players will need a whopping 260 Candleberries.
Now this may sound like a lot, but it can actually save you a lot. You can get 180 Candleberries just by leveling up on the Gathering Candleberries event reward track. As you earn XP while playing the game or completing certain stages of the Flickering Flames project, you can earn Merrits, which are given out to level up your reward track.
additionally, Candleberries can be found in the wild On all maps where the cold event is active. You can find it even in a snowstorm Bush with bright red berries It can be looted. They each produce about 1-3 candleberries, often clustered close together.
Radar caches from Cold Snap events are another good way to find them. There are usually 3-5 candleberries in each, so it's well worth taking the extra time to open them. Lastly, you can also find Candleberries in rare baskets scattered around nature-themed points of interest, which often yield the greatest number of berries.
Some of my favorite places to find candleberries are:
- Inside and around the water dome complex on the dam battlefield
- Marano Park in Buried City
- A small forest between the Spaceport Container Depot and the East Plains Depot.
Candleberry Collection Event Tracker
The final part of the Flicker Flames event is a new reward tracker where you can earn various cosmetic items (and candleberries!) upon completion. Consisting of 25 individual rewards, players must earn advantages to progress through the tracker.
This will be provided at the end of each match. Every 100 XP is equivalent to a single Merit. If you execute well by killing the right amount of ARCs and enemy raiders, you can earn thousands of XP. This will be the main source of all the advantages you earn, and you don't need to worry too much as you can earn a lot of these advantages passively just by playing the game.
you can earn too thousands of advantages Just complete certain steps in the Flickering Flames project. For example, if you put in 3 light bulbs, you can get 1,000 Merit points. You can't rely on this to fully complete the Gathering Candleberries tracker, but it's a great way to replenish your Merit intake.

The event is currently running for 27 days.So you actually have plenty of time to earn all the advantages and rewards. As mentioned earlier, don't worry too much about the amount of credits you earn. While playing the game, you only earn enough to complete the event in time. Focus more on finding key items for your Flickering Flames project!
According to players, Arc Raiders' exploration project rewards aren't worth deleting progress for.
You may want to hold off on deleting your progress in Arc Raiders.
