Latest update: ARC Raiders Patch 1.1.0 appears to be a standard maintenance update on the surface, but there's a lot more interesting stuff underneath the bug fixes and quality of life tweaks. In addition to fixes for attacks, achievements, and abilities not triggering correctly, updates will also change as some new map conditions appear. For players catching up ARC RaidersThe new map conditions seem like a very compelling reason to log back in and continue building your stash.
The majority of patch 1.1.0 is straightforward and skills like Health Regen and Integrated Shield Recharger now work as intended. Handouts can no longer push players into walls, and the Punch Hand emote from the pre-order edition has finally been added to the game. But what's really new is how the update reschedules map conditions, bringing the Hidden Bunker event into rotation for November 8th. These include the Night Raid of the Blue Gate, the Electromagnetic Storm, and, most famously, the Hidden Bunker.
Hidden bunkers offer a new way to play Spaceport
The Hidden Bunker event, specific to the Spaceport map, adds four antenna dishes scattered around the map. You'll need to activate each antenna, which will trigger waves of hornets and wasps that you'll have to deal with. Once all ARCs have been dispatched and all four antennas are powered up, the bunker door (it seems to have always been there) will open to all players on the map, revealing the valuable loot inside.
Players should be warned, though, as unlocking the bunker looks like it's going to be a risky endeavor. The antenna is separate from the bunker itself, so those looking to run the event can spot it before others get to the loot. If this is possible, hidden bunkers could turn into one of the most tense PVP battles in the game. ARC Raiders.
Like Harvester, Hidden Bunker is another raid level event.
ARC Raiders While it already relies on dynamic map conditions to keep the world interesting, Hidden Bunker introduces more substantial community goals that align more closely with Harvester events than anything else. Loot modifiers or environmental hazards are always welcome, but shared goals can change the overall goal of a round. It will be interesting to watch as players choose whether to chase antennas, build camps in bunkers, or simply keep their heads down and focus on survival.
Event design takes advantage of: ARC Raiders' Its strength as an extraction shooter lies in the fact that the tension between cooperation and competition is what really drives the game's success. Much like the Harvester and the Queen event, the Hidden Bunker event has the potential to change the way people play on the map. Another impactful event like this is pretty impressive considering how fresh the game still is.
A smarter update cycle for Arc Raiders
In addition to bug fixes and new events, moving new map conditions to Saturdays is a welcome and truly thoughtful change. Rather than randomizing when they appear or tying them to larger seasonal events, Embark seems to be creating a predictable schedule. This rhythm encourages players to check back in regularly without requiring daily play.
It also makes sense that events like Hidden Bunker and ElectroMagnetic Storm happen when more players are online. Fixed weekend slots help focus the action and provide natural momentum to the event without additional rewards or limited-time bonuses. It may not be a huge change, but it will make a significant difference. ARC Raiders Feel alive through player actions rather than forced participation.
Compared to the major content updates coming, this is definitely a minor addition. ARC Raiders In the near future, this patch will be one of the most significant updates to the game to date. Hidden Bunker in particular could be the highlight of your weekend sessions when it goes live on November 8th. I know I'm looking forward to a little door camping.
