New enemies called Polymorph bring a deeper layer to combat
These new enemies are described as “new mystical beings born from CHAR-les' own terrible experiments.” atomic heart's enemy types continue to get more difficult with each chapter, and the Polymorphs are teasing the P-3 with something that will put them through the wringer. Naturally, this means more CHAR-les will be in the spotlight. This polymorph is one of many experiments by an evil artificial intelligence that requires P-3 to think quickly during combat. Polymorphs are only being teased at the moment, but Blood on Crystal's official press release confirms that enemies will “force you to adjust your fighting style on the fly.”
But that's not where the challenges end. Blood on Crystal promises “the craziest boss you'll ever encounter in Facility 3826,” but that's not the case. atomic heartThe boss fight is light from the start. These encounters are usually very fast-paced and require near-perfect dodging, so there's no telling what horrors await the players in this chapter.

Facility 3826 was at the center of it all. atomic heartIt tells the story from the beginning and allows players to explore entirely new locations in the lab. “P-3, the twins and their allies must venture deeper into Installation 3826 than ever before to battle the CHAR-les and make one last desperate effort to save humanity from annihilation.” Now, diving into the deepest parts of the overflowing lab will be both thrilling and terrifying.
