A Pain Gaming Board member surprised fans by asking when she lost her virginity.

Brazilian esports organization Pain Gaming is dealing with the aftermath of recent sexual abuse allegations against the team's (now former) League of Legends player Alexandre “TitaN” Lima Dos Santos.

Dos Santos was reported to the First Female Defense Police Department (DDM) in Sao Paulo by at least three women on March 8. Specifically, dos Santos is accused of having sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl (dos Santos was 25 years old), including sending her unsolicited photos of herself. A second victim claimed dos Santos shared sexual videos of her with a third party without her consent, while a third victim said she blacked out after drinking and woke up to him touching her inappropriately.

According to a report by Sheep Esports, members of Pain Gaming's board of directors attempted to deflect criticism from the player at a fan meeting held before Dos Santos quit.

Pain Gaming's board attempted to deflect TitaN's accusations.

The subject of the fan meeting was Payne's participation in the King's League, a modified seven-a-side soccer tournament that uses power-ups and unconventional rules. But the topic soon turned to International Women's Day (IWD) and the allegations against dos Santos. Because promoting IWD while hiring someone accused of sexual abuse is a clear double standard.

According to the report, board members suggested that the 16-year-old victim “provoked” dos Santos and that the situation was not too concerning because the girl was over 14, the age of consent in Brazil.

The board also tried to suggest that the local culture where dos Santos grew up may have influenced his attitude towards women, but they did not actually know where the player grew up (Manaus).

Surprisingly, one of the board members reportedly asked the gathered fans at what age she lost her virginity in an attempt to minimize the seriousness of dos Santos' sexual relationship with the teen.

Minecraft was recently listed on Steam under the name 'Kogama', but the developer is suspected of being a predator.

After reports surfaced that DDM had taken on the case, Pain Gaming finally decided to fire Dos Santos. In a statement on social media, the team said: “Pain Gaming announces the dismissal of Alexandre 'TitaN' Lima from the organization. As an organization, we make decisions guided by the principles and responsibilities we carry with our history, our community, and all that Pain represents.”

TitaN is one of the most recognizable figures in Brazilian League of Legends, having represented the region in three World Championships with three different teams (Kabum, Red Canids, and Pain Gaming). He was suspended by Payne in January of this year, but remained with the organization until his final dismissal.
