Tips for leveling up quickly
Talking to an animal that appears on the map increases your Friendship Points by 2. Animals that appear are always request for you to complete. Completing these, talking to the animal, giving it gifts, changing its costume, etc. all give you experience points towards that animal's friendship level. As your animals level up, you gain experience for your camp manager level..
Animals don't stay on the map forever. It is replaced with a different animal every 3 hours. If this happens, you will also receive a new request. Be sure to talk to everyone three hours in advance.
If there are animals at your campsite/cabin, they will remain there until you remove them. Warp to the campsite/hut during the 3 hour period and you will receive: List of visiting animals who would like to talk to you. This is your chance to earn more Friendship Points. Select “Tell me a story!” Occasionally you will be asked to select furniture/clothing as a gift for another animal. Each animal has its own unique style, but even if you don't like the gift, you'll still receive 6 friendship points.

Collect all souvenirs on the Golden/Resident Island to get x20 Gold Treats. If you already have all the Villager maps, you can earn Bronze/Silver/Gold treats by requesting them or completing Isles of Style. Unlike regular snacks, Bronze/Silver/Gold snacks are everyone's favorite and are the “regular” type. They always give +3, +10, and +25 friendship points respectively.

What should I give?
You can complete requests in bulk by selecting: Pete's Parcel Service. As long as you have the items, you can send them and gain friendship points without having to talk to the animals directly. Most requests require you to deliver items you have collected, such as fruit or bugs.
In other cases, you will be asked for a piece of fruit, bug, or fish. These requests allow you to choose what items to provide. Although you may only want to give common items, we recommend choosing one of the following: higher value. Quality gifts sometimes provide bonus rewards and additional experience points. You can also receive 1500 bells if you give a rare item. Some recommended items to give to your animal:

Once your animal reaches level 10 (or 15 in some cases), it can accept special requests. This will unlock the furniture you need to craft to complete the request. Special request furniture typically costs over 9000 bells to craft, along with the required materials, and takes over 10 hours to craft. Special requests take longer to complete, but are another way to earn a lot of Friendship Points.
