As someone who has always wanted to get into Jinjo Warriors, Origins would be the perfect jumping off point.
After previewing the game recently, I had nothing but positive things to say, but only time will tell if Dynasty Warriors: Origins will resonate with fans. Since Origins is doing something different enough to not be considered a mainline title, we asked producer Tomohiko Sho for his thoughts on continuing Origins as a separate series with a potential sequel.

In response, Sho stated that he would like to make a sequel to Jinshin Warriors: Origins in the future if it “sells well” and Koei Tecmo allows him to continue the story. Sho specifically pointed out that he wanted the campaign mode to cover only half of the Three Kingdoms story (albeit in more detail than before) and tell the rest of the story afterward.
Aside from that, Sho actually already has a potential idea for a sequel to Dynasty Warriors: Origins and hasn't shared it to that point. For those who take this as a somewhat bad sign for Origins' amnesiac protagonist, Sho has made it clear that he will still appear in the game, but that he wants someone else to be the protagonist.
