Omoda and Jack held a grand brand launch event at the Fairmont Hotel in Riyadh on July 29th.

The event was attended by over 250 prominent local media and industry key opinion leaders (KOLs) and attracted significant attention from the Saudi Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Energy.

Several senior government officials also watched the launch.

The event began with a dazzling light show, followed by a surprise appearance by a digital hologram host to host the live event.

This innovative approach not only provided audiences with an incredible visual and auditory experience, but also demonstrated Omoda and Jaku’s dedication to future technology and fashion trends.

OMODA and JACK are targeting the new generation of lifestyle enthusiasts and urban elites respectively. The former aims to find a new way forward in the era of smart and electric vehicles, while the latter seeks to break boundaries in the global off-road vehicle market with a fearless spirit of exploration.

Among the Omoda series, the C5 implements a unique and sophisticated crossover SUV style through the “Art in Motion” design philosophy.

The exterior design exudes a futuristic, technological feel, combining a diamond-cut geometric matrix grille, dynamic and powerful waistline, 18-inch dual-color blade wheels, and signature coupe SUV fastback silhouette.

In terms of safety, the C5's body is made of 78 percent ultra-high-strength steel and comes standard with advanced intelligent driver assistance systems, providing passengers with world-class safety and comfort.

At the event, the Omoda C5, one of the star models of the OMODA series, showcased its unique and stylish crossover SUV style based on the “Art in Motion” design philosophy.

Featuring world-class safety performance, this model has 78% of its body made of ultra-high-strength steel and is equipped with advanced intelligent driver assistance systems to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

Equipped with the ARDIS all-terrain intelligent system, the Jaecoo J7 is a good example of the Jaecoo series’ concept of “from classic to beyond classic.”

This system provides the J7 with excellent maneuverability on diverse and complex terrains including sand, mud and off-road, ensuring Saudi users can enjoy the ultimate driving experience in any travel scenario.

In terms of power, the J7 is equipped with a 1.6TGDI engine with a maximum torque of 290N m, paired with a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission to deliver an outstanding driving experience. All J7 models are built to extremely high safety standards, featuring an innovative energy-absorbing cage body design, over 80% high-strength steel, and leading ADAS systems, building together the “Beyond Classic” safety system and intelligent protection functions.

Sean Xu, CEO of Omoda and Jacku, gave a strategic speech at the launch event, sharing the brand’s remarkable achievements in the global market.

In less than a year since its establishment, Omoda and Jacku have surpassed 260,000 units in cumulative global sales, and export sales in the first half of 2024 are expected to increase by 54% year-on-year.

This achievement not only confirms the brand's status as one of the fastest-growing automotive brands globally, but also demonstrates its strong competitiveness in the global automotive market.

Behind these achievements, Omoda and Jacku have continuously strived to penetrate the market and innovate their products.

Going forward, Omoda and Jaku will further strengthen their position in the Saudi market, positioning Saudi Arabia as an important hub for rapid development in the Middle East and global markets.

As a personalized new energy vehicle brand, OMODA and JACK will focus on the new energy sector and provide models with various power options such as BEV, PHEV, and ICE to meet diverse consumer needs.
