Kai Cenat and his talent agency sued
Bronx resident Dustin Batista filed a lawsuit in Bronx County Superior Court in June 2026 related to an incident that allegedly occurred in July 2025. Cenat and Lamont Gilbert aren't the only parties named in the assault lawsuit. Batista named Night, Inc., the talent agency that manages Kai Sena's streaming activities, as one of the defendants in the case, suggesting the company should be held responsible for its security selection. The lawsuit also names the security contractor who provided Gilbert as event security to hold the company liable for the employee's actions. The initial legal complaint did not provide the name of the organization, and Batista plans to amend the lawsuit once the company's identity is revealed.
Kai Cenat's new legal troubles come as the content creator steps back from regular content creation in 2026.
