The Evolution of the Halo CampaignAnd its characteristics are Catch, Blind, Pinata Skull and Spent Terminal. The locations and effects of all these collectibles are listed below. But perhaps the most important one is the first, Skull, Catch. They all have their own unique requirements to unlock, so we'll guide you through them below.
It's worth noting that the first skull, Catch, can only be obtained on Heroic or Legendary difficulties without using skulls. You can try this skull at any time by starting a new game and selecting the Keyes Rally Point Alpha checkpoint.
Skull #1: Positioning
Catch Skull is located on top of the gravity lift, but requires you to speedrun the beginning of the Keyes mission in less than 5 minutes. You must also be on Heroic or Legendary difficulty for this speedrun, and using Skulls will not spawn Skull Grabs.
It can be quite difficult, but I succeeded by avoiding all the enemies until I reached the gravity lift. Once you get to the gravity lift, use grenades and guns to kill only the Covenant, stay in the gravity lift and press the interact button. When a Covenant target dies, gravity lift is activated and a beam is fired. When you land on the ship, a skeleton will be found on the ground.
Skull #2: Blind Position
Continue through the main objective to reach the shuttle bay. However, in the first open room you find, you'll see a group of Flood along with a few Covenant vehicles like Ghosts and Wraiths. If you go down into this large room, you can enter a room blocked by a Covenant vehicle in the back left corner.
Crouch under the Covenant tank and walk down the hallway, follow it to the left and you'll find a blind skull next to a locked door.
Terminal #1: Where to use it
As soon as you enter the shuttle bay, the objective changes to “Climb to the upper deck.” Ignore this and look to your left to see an open door. Enter this room and follow the hallway where two Hunters will attack you. After killing them, go into the room that appears from (right) and find a terminal.
Story spoilers ahead for Halo Campaign Evolved, so be careful when looking at this final skull!
Skull #3: Piñata Location
Once you find Captain Keyes, a cutscene will play. After the cutscene, turn around again to face the flood-covered Captain Keyes and begin meleeing his head until his skull falls to the ground. It takes 4-5 melee attacks to do this, and even if it doesn't register as a hit, keep doing it and you'll find the skull on the ground.
