Ash Greninja is not available in the basic version. minecraft's Cobblemon mod, but players can add it to the game by installing a mod called Cobblemon: Mega Showdown. This mod uses an item called the Ash Cap to unlock the ability for a regular Greninja to transform into Ash Greninja using the unique ability Battle Bond.
To do this, in addition to Mega Showdown, you'll also need to install the Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod. Ash Greninja's signature ability, Battle Bond, is only effective in trainer battles, as it can only be added to Kobblemon using the RCT mod.

How to Get Ash Greninja in Cobblemon: Mega Showdown
To get Ash-Greninja in Cobblemon: Mega Showdown, you need to get Greninja, increase its friendship to 250 (maximum level), craft Ash Cap, then right-click and use it on Greninja.
Step 1: Purchase Greninja
You can get Greninja by selecting Froakie as your starter and evolving it from Cobblemon, or by capturing Froakie, Frogadier, or Greninja directly from the wild. All three of these Pokémon spawn very rarely in the Bamboo, Freshwater, and Jungle biomes.
Step 2: Increase Greninja's Friendship
You can increase Greninja's friendship with Cobblemon by leveling up, walking, winning Pokémon battles, or using friendship-boosting berries (Tamato, Qualot, Pomeg, Kelpsy, Hondew, and Grepa). You can increase the friendship acquisition rate by giving Greninja the item he owns, or placing it in a Luxury Ball.
You can check Greninja's friendship by opening the Pokémon status screen, going to the third tab, and clicking 'Other'.
Step 3: Get the Ash Cap
The Ash Cap can be crafted using Red Wool, Green Wool, and White Wool using the following recipe:

Step 4: Give Greninja the Ash Hat.
Equip the Ash Cap on your hotbar, free Greninja from the Poke Ball, and right-click. Numerous red hearts will appear around the Pokémon's sprite, indicating that the transformation was successful. If no red hearts appear, Greninja's friendship level is too low.
To see if your Greninja is now Ash Greninja, open the Pokémon's status screen and look at its abilities. It should now say Battle Bond.
Step 5: Activate Ash Greninja
Take part in battles against trainers with multiple Pokémon and use Greninja to defeat your first Pokémon. When the trainer sends out a second Pokémon, Greninja will transform into Ash Greninja, its stats will improve, and its Water Shuriken move will become more powerful.

How to Get Ash Cap in Cobbleverse
In Cobbleverse (one of Cobblemon's most popular modpacks), you cannot directly craft the Ash Cap item to obtain Ash Greninja. Instead, you must find and fight Ash Ketchum, who drops an Ash Cap when defeated.
To find Ash's house, you'll need to craft an Ash Key, a blank map, and a cartography table.

Once you have collected all three items, place the Kanto Cartography Table on the ground and right-click on it. Place the blank map in the left slot and the Ash Key in the middle slot. After a while, the Ash Map will appear in the output window. This map shows the location of Ash's home within the 10,000 block.
Optionally, when crafting the Ash map, you can use the Battle Seeker in the third slot of the Kanto cartography table to increase the map range from 10,000 to 25,000 blocks, making finding locations much easier.

Alternatively, you can also type: /structure cobbleverse:ash find You can get Ash's home coordinates directly from the command menu.
When you find Ash, defeat him in battle and he will drop the Ash Cap on the ground. In our game, he had a whole team of level 40 Pokemon with optimized movesets and great stats, so make sure you have at least 4-5 badges before fighting him.
After defeating Ash, if you don't see the Ash Cap next to Ash, check Ash's room. This item may sometimes appear on Ash's bed instead.
