Destiny 2The Monument of Victory armor sets are a huge breath of fresh air into the game, and some of them have already become popular items for a variety of activities. Now Iron Banner is introducing the Iron Battalion set, which offers incredibly powerful bonuses, especially in PvE.

  • 2-Piece Bonus: 1st Honing — Improved handling and reload speed for primary ammo weapons. Primary ammo weapons deal increased damage to non-boss combatants based on weapon stats.
  • 4-type bonus: Supercycle — Deal a killing blow while the super is active, and get your super energy back when the super ends.

Destiny 2Endgame builds often use a primary weapon, whether legendary or exotic, to avoid running out of ammo or to reliably stun champions. The two-piece bonus in this set allows your primary weapon to deal more damage to non-boss enemies, which can be very powerful in activities like Grandmaster and Ultimate Alerts where each attack deals 10 or less damage. Perhaps even more powerful is the 4-piece bonus, which grants you Super Energy back based on the number of Super kills you have. This can be paired with already powerful builds like the Warlock's Geomag Stabilizers and Chaos Reach or the Titan's Hallowfire Heart and Solar Super.

It's unclear what the exact percentage of each set bonus is, but Destiny 2Iron Banner will be a must-play activity for both PvE and PvP fans. There's no word yet on whether this will become a meta set, but it looks very strong on paper, and you'll only be able to get it from June 30th to July 7th before the next Iron Banner.
