Over the years, fans have seen many powerful characters, including: Do a jujutsu. In fact, when it comes to fight scenes, hardly any modern boy does it better than this one. Do a jujutsuGege Akutami gives us the battles we've come to expect almost every chapter. These amazing battles feature a lot of these amazing characters, but sometimes the plot needs to be nerfed for one reason or another.
This isn't an uncommon practice in stories, and it often tells the narrative very well, even if fans of a particular character aren't very happy with it. Jujutsu Kaisen has nerfed many characters in various ways over the years.

Mai Zenin is Maki's younger sister, and at first fans felt she didn't have much potential. However, after seeing Yorozu utilize a skill similar to his own, namely construction, he realized that Mai had an amazing ability that he couldn't actually utilize.
Of course, Mai did not receive a nerf in the general sense. She was born as a twin, which was considered a curse, preventing her from using her abilities to their full potential. In that sense, Mai was not nerfed technically by the author, but by fate itself. But the power to learn was still hers. If the writers had allowed her to reach her true heights, she would undoubtedly have become one of the most powerful wizards of modern times, and that goes without saying.

Okotsu Yuta
Yuta Okotsu is an incredibly powerful wizard. In fact, he is a Special Class Sorcerer, one of only four, and certainly at the highest level. Despite everything, Utah has received several nerfs. Do a jujutsu. He has one of the most incredibly overpowering abilities fans have ever seen in the series: the copy ability. Unfortunately, he can only utilize Copy for 5 minutes, which is a huge nerf.
Moreover, expanding the realm of true mutual love, Yuta cannot choose which abilities to use, even though they can inflict fatal damage to his enemies. The good thing is that he can continue to use the abilities he chooses as long as he continues to choose them. However, Yuta, a wizard who is said to have the potential to reach Gojo's level one day, has apparently been nerfed to prevent him from becoming too powerful.

Itadori Yuji
Yuji Itadori is the main character of the series, and although he had no notable talents until later in the story, we now know that he is actually an individual with the potential to reach Sukuna's level. Yuji is actually very strong and wields a soul-destroying punch, and that alone would be strong enough to defeat the majority of wizards. In fact, even in the battle with Sukuna, his abilities were greatly nerfed.
Despite Yuji firing multiple Black Flashes at Sukuna, the latter's cursed energy level, which clearly should have been lowered, remained. This means that Yuji's soul damage ability has been significantly nerfed. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Yuji, who is also a Blood Manipulation user, is not yet able to fully control this ability. If he had been allowed to utilize Blood Manipulation to its full potential, his battle with Sukuna would have been much easier. Moreover, the author gave another version of this technique to Yuji, who also has access to the shrine. His abilities weren't as dangerous as Shinjuku's Sukuna, which once again felt like another nerf from the author.

Ryomen Sukuna
King of Curses Sukuna himself has received several nerfs. After the battle with Gojo, Sukuna received nerfs in several ways. First, the reverse curse was not used properly. At the same time, he was unable to expand his territory for quite some time when other wizards began to attack him. If Sukuna had given his all, this battle would have been over in a matter of minutes.
Fortunately, much later Sukuna's territory was returned to him, allowing him to inflict devastating damage on his enemies. However, Sukuna was far from his best form until his final moments and remained nerfed until his death. If Gojo hadn't weakened him for Yuji, Sukuna would have eliminated him within minutes.

Gojo Satoru
Satoru Gojo, the strongest modern wizard, was also nerfed several times in the story. Most recently, Gojo was nerfed during his fight with Sukuna, and despite being able to continually refill his depleted curse skills, Gojo was shown to be reaching his limit for plot purposes. If that wasn't enough, Gojo didn't make the most of his Six Eyes, which were supposed to give him the ability to see cursed energies at their most essential level. Characters such as Kasimo and Maki could not avoid the division and disintegration of Sukuna's world, which could have been avoided.
He was also unable to use the Reverse Curse technique despite being able to access it again after being hit by the World Split Disintegration. Undoubtedly, Gozo was severely nerfed in this fight to allow the plot to progress.
