Grand Theft Auto 6's Cover Art Reveal and Pre-Order Date The trailer is just over 30 seconds long, but it's already garnering more views than almost all of this month's biggest reveals.
As the world has painfully known since Trailer 2 was released a year ago, the world is desperate for any kind of news about GTA 6. Despite all the calls for a third trailer and more information, Rockstar has been completely quiet in the meantime, and we keep hearing promises from Take-Two that there won't be another delay.
That all changed a few days ago when Rockstar decided to bombard GTA 6 fans with an incredibly short trailer revealing the game's cover art, main theme, and the fast-approaching pre-order date of June 25th. The trailer was so short it could have been no more than an email, but the power of GTA has already overshadowed most of this month's biggest announcements.
GTA 6's pre-order trailer has already garnered more views than SGF's big reveal.
There's only one game left… for now.
As Twitter user SynthPotato points out, Rockstar's official YouTube upload of the Grand Theft Auto 6 cover art reveal has already racked up nearly 9 million views since it was released two days ago. That number is steadily increasing, which is pretty impressive considering the trailer is just over 30 seconds long.
SynthPotato also points out that these views mean that the new GTA 6 trailer has already surpassed the God of War Laufey reveal, which was first revealed during PlayStation's State of Play showcase. Synth suggests this will be the most-viewed trailer in the month's game reveals, but that's not really the case.
As we reported earlier in the month after most of the big Summer Game Fest showcases were done and gone, there was one trailer that surprisingly led the pack to the biggest reveal of the season. Of course, I'm talking about Spyro: A Realm Beyond, which was leading the way with over 10 million views a few weeks ago.
More than a week later, Spyro's next game is still the biggest announcement of Summer Game Fest, with a whopping 16 million views. That's almost twice as much as the current GTA 6 cover art reveal trailer. The power of GTA is certainly very powerful, but it's still not enough to overtake Spyro as the most viewed trailer of the month.

Every video game in existence is scared of Grand Theft Auto 6.
Enjoy the biggest game ever.
