The dragon lord’s power comes from an era that predates much of recorded history, wielding devastating lightning strikes and the strength sufficient to maintain his status as ruler for an entire age. When found in-game, his wounded state may only show glimpses of his former self, but what remains is still a force to be reckoned with that can contend with much younger opponents.

• Sought power capable of consuming gods themselves.

Rykard abandoned the Golden Order entirely in pursuit of absolute power. By allowing himself to be consumed by the God-Devouring Serpent, he became part of a monstrous entity whose very purpose was the consumption of divine beings, opening the door for a power level that has effectively no ceiling.

Unlike most demigods, Rykard’s strength continually grows through devouring others, and the serpent’s ability to absorb others positions him as a nigh-unbeatable foe with very few ways to stop him. Also, because the serpent exists to consume gods, and is certainly hungry to do so, it is both his potential power and his personal desire that make him such a terrifying figure among a range of already menacing foes.
