Below, we'll share a brief story overview of every raid in chronological order so you can understand the narrative importance of the six-man Guardian fireteam that stopped this threat.

All Destiny 2 Raids (Chronologically)

glass safe	The glass vaults of Venus hide important players in the Vex network. Atheon is the conductor of time, but only from the vault. The Guardians tracked down Atheon in order to eliminate key figures from the Vex to prevent their further integration into reality.
Crota's End	In the lunar Hellmouth is Oryx's son Crota and his throne world. The Guardians set out to kill the God Knight, only to awaken God King Oryx's vengeance.
the fall of a king	Oryx commands the armies of the Darkness and the Taken, while the Guardians of the Throne World await to avenge their son. The Guardians kill Oryx on the throne world to meet his final death, but sacrifice the empty spot on the throne that his sisters will fight to fill.
huge	After the Red War, the exiled former Emperor of the Cabal, Calus, invites Guardians to his Leviathan ship with challenges prepared for entertainment and study. When he beat Calus, it was revealed that he was a robot, and the real Calus was plotting a plan somewhere else…
eater of worlds	Argos, a Vex spirit, found himself trapped in the Leviathan's engines, and Emperor Calus enlisted the Guardians' help to fix the engine problems and eliminate the Vex threat.
star spire	The remnants of the Red Legion, led by Val Kauor, have infiltrated Leviathan. Emperor Calus requests additional support from the Guardians to repel the invaders and prevent the command of their ships.
last wish	With Cayde-6 avenged and Uldren Sov dead, Mara Sov, Queen of the Awakened, calls on the Guardians to confront the last living wish dragon, Ahamkara Riven. Riven was subdued. To cleanse the Dreaming City of its corruption, you must kill Riven and extract her heart. Death was part of Riven's plan…
disaster of the past	Fallen members of Kell's Scourge have infiltrated the Last City and seized a cache of powerful weapons lost from the Black Armory. The Guardians must invade Kell's Scourge territory and destroy the war machine before the Last City falls to internal threats.
crown of sorrow	The Hive's invasion has left the Leviathan in ruins, and as Gahlran the Sorrowbearer has been driven mad by the power and darkness of the Crown of Sorrows, Calus once again calls upon the Guardians to help control the pests in order to stop this threat.
Garden of Salvation	Pyramids are being unearthed across the solar system, and the Vex are drawn to a mysterious signal from the Black Garden. The Guardians defeated the Vex and tracked the signal, only to discover that the Black Fleet, the darkness itself, was approaching.
deep stone cellar	House Salvation and their dark forces have infiltrated the Deep Stone Crypt, a powerful space station above Europa. The Guardians must remove House Salvation from Clovis Bray's emergency ship to prevent massive destruction on Jupiter's icy moon.
disciple's oath	The Disciple of the First Witness welcomes the imprisoned Guardians aboard the sunken pyramid vessel on the throne world of Savathun. Rhulk, serving the Witnesses, seeks to seal the light using the Upended, a superweapon siphon. The Guardians defeat Rhulk, and the Witness rallies the Dark Fleet towards the solar system.
Nightmare Root	With the Traveler opened and the Witnesses crafting its final form within, the Guardians boarded the terraformed pyramid ship that had been attacked by the Traveler in search of answers, only to discover the resurrected Nezarek, the last god of pain and nightmare awaiting his next death.
edge of salvation	The Guardians infiltrated the Traveler's Pale Heart, ascended the Pillar of Witness, confronted the Master in his final form, and weakened him to the point of final death, saving the entire universe from eternal nothingness.
Desert Perpetual	Commander Maya Sundaresh uses the power of the Echo of Command to control the Vex, and her quest takes her to Kepler's Singularity and invade the unknown spaces of Nain. The Guardians infiltrate the unknown world to battle the Vex and drive them out before they can digitize the dimensional dark matter.
