However, the price of this dedicated controller is more than twice that of the standard DualSense wireless controller. The new controller is scheduled to hit store shelves on the same date as the fighting game exclusive to the PS5 console.
The FlexStrike wireless battle stick was first revealed during the State of Play broadcast in June 2025. It has 40 hours of battery life and can connect to PS5 or PC consoles via the included PlayStation Link USB adapter or USB-C cable. When you connect to your PS5 console using the included PlayStation Link USB adapter, you can connect up to two FlexStrike controllers with a single wireless connection.

The controller features a directional joystick, eight buttons mapped to existing PlayStation inputs, and three limit gates that can be swapped out as needed. Square limit gates are pre-installed on each FlexStrike controller, but users can also choose octagonal or round limit gates to suit their play style. The joystick can also be adjusted to mimic the actions of the D-pad, left stick, or right stick thanks to a slider on the top of the fight stick.
The Flexstrike wireless battle stick has a built-in rechargeable battery that delivers up to 40 hours of wireless gameplay on a single charge. You can recharge the battery by connecting the controller to your PS5 console, PC, or USB-C power adapter via the included USB-C cable. The FlexStrike also comes with a sling carrying case to safely store the controller and any necessary cables.
