Doing Jujutsu The Shinjuku Showdown arc was a wonderful experience that officially concluded with Chapter 271 in 2024. The run gave us some of the best combat we've ever seen in the story, and also saw the strongest wizards come together in one place to showcase their true skills. Of course, the sheer amount of fighting that took place in this arc meant that there were an incredible amount of power-ups too.
Gege Akutami, the creator of the series, introduced a lot of amazing new characters in this arc, and while there were plenty of new power-ups, there were only a few that could be considered the best.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Adult Itadori Yuji's Power Levels, Description
Yuji gained tremendous strength. Gege shows off his new power level in JJK Modulo.
Higuruma Hiromi’s RCT
Higuruma Hiromi got quite a bit of focus in the Shinjuku Shodown episode. There was a mountain to overcome as he entered the raid against the King of Curses, but he was able to leave a deep impression on Sukuna, something that many wizards are unable to do. When Higuruma was cut off by Sukuna, he was able to recover by learning how to use RCT on the spot, something that only a select few geniuses can do. Gege Akutami officially classified him as a talent on the same level as Gojo.
Higuruma's Domain Amplification
Higuruma learned how to use the reverse curse and received praise from Sukuna, but that was not all. He also learned the Bandomain technique on the spot while fighting Sukuna. This technology was none other than domain amplification. In fact, not only did he learn how to use Domain Amplification, but he was also able to easily switch between using Amplification and attacking Sukuna.
Sukuna compared the usage of this switch to his own, and that is the highest compliment. This was an amazing power-up that deserves more respect in retrospect.
Gojo's unique RCT circuit
Gojo received a very interesting power-up in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. During his fight with Sukuna, he struck several black flashes. In fact, Gojo fired four black flashes in succession, one of which even caused massive damage to the King of Curses. After the Black Flashes, Gojo was able to create a unique reverse curse technology circuit in his brain. This allowed him to recover the RCT and its essentially exhausted cursed technology. Although Gozo technically lost his RCT at this point, he was able to create other circuits to use it by striking the black flash and became more adept at healing.
Sukuna's Shrine Upgrade
Sakuna eventually received a major power-up in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc as well. Here, Sukuna wanted a blueprint to bypass Gojo's Infinity. Thanks to Mahora, we were able to do it successfully. In essence, Sukuna learned how to increase and shift the object of technology from the individual to the world as a whole.
This allowed Sukuna to cut down everything in the world, including Infinity, which allowed him to create the World Splitting Dismantle, a new technique that essentially kills with a single shot.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Awakening of All Powers, Rankings
JJK's characters are fundamentally changed through Awakening and their powers are greatly increased.
Yuji's Cursed Magic
Yuji developed greatly during the one-month timeskip, reaching new levels of power, starting with gaining the ability to utilize reverse curses. During the Shinjuku Showdown, Yuji demonstrated the ability to heal serious injuries when he engaged in battle with Sukuna.
Despite being hit multiple times by Sukuna's powerful Cleaves, Yuji uses RCT to get up and recover, which is very impressive. His heading was greatly aided by the Blood Manipulation Cursed Technique.

Yuji's anti-domain technology
Not only did Yuji learn the ability to utilize the Reverse Curse technique, he also learned the Anti-Domain technique. As Sukuna manifested a 99-second domain expansion, Yuji utilized the power of New Shadow Style to counter it and took out Simple Domain.
Thanks to this, he was able to withstand Sukuna's slashes for quite a long time. But his realm eventually collapsed. Still, it served to prevent him from being killed or slashed from all directions.
Yuji's Blood Manipulation
The series' protagonist, Yuji Itadori, eventually gains many powerful abilities during the Shinjuku Showdown arc. There are some abilities that Yuji actually awakens before the Shinjuku showdown, but of course we only see them in this episode. One such ability is Blood Manipulation.
While preparing for the Shinjuku showdown, Yuji ended up consuming between four and nine Death Paintings, which essentially granted him the Cursed Blood Manipulation technique. He utilized this power in his battle with Sukuna, and although his control at the time was not perfect, he still used this technique well.
Yuji's Gentleman Awakening
To put it very simply, the biggest power-up that Yuji got during the Shinjuku Showdown was the Temple's Curse technique. Essentially, after hitting Black Flash against Sukuna, Yuji unlocked his latent potential and awakened the gentleman to gain his greatest power-up. This cursed skill allows him to use powers such as Cleave and Dismantle, among many other skills.
Utah's Takeover of Gozo
In the case of Okotsu Yuta, we saw him granted a temporary power-up in the grand scheme of things. Essentially, after Yuta fell in battle with Sukuna, Rika kept him alive until she switched bodies using Kenjaku's curse technique that she had previously copied.
To the surprise of fans, Yuta used the cursed body jumping technique to take control of Gojo's body. This gave Yuta access to this incredible body, which essentially gave him the Six Eyes and Limitless Curse techniques, and even allowed him to open the Unlimited Void. Furthermore, due to the nature of Kenzaku's technology, Limitless was engraved in Yuta's brain, and it is highly likely that he took it with him when he left Gojo's body.
Yuji's domain expansion
Without a doubt, the biggest power-up in Shinjuku Showdown came near the end, when Yuji Itadori finally learned how to use the domain extension. This technique was definitely not easy for him to use, but he did it perfectly. Within his domain, Yuji was stronger than anyone else, and his soul-splitting attacks posed a great threat to Sukuna.
To top it all off, Yuji Itadori was able to use Soul Split Disintegration, which served as a sure hit of the zone, and it landed directly on Sukuna, inflicting severe damage and weakening his hold on Megumi. Yuji ended his fight with another Black Flash, ending the King of Curses once and for all. This was the final power-up in the entire original Jujutsu Kaisen manga and ended the biggest battle in the most satisfying way. Yuji gained more power-ups in the follow-up series called Modulo, but the original manga confirmed that his domain was the last skill he learned.
