One of the biggest focuses of Season 3 is the return of sprites, featuring both old and new animals. Here are all the sprites for Fortnite Runners:
How to Get Sprite XP in Fortnite
Sprite XP can be earned through kills, opening chests/containers, and extracting sprites.. The XP values you can gain from an equipped sprite are as follows:

+200 XP for duplicate sprite extraction

Extract another sprite +100 XP

+100 XP for defeating enemies

Eliminate Enemies +200 XP

+75 XP for opened crates, ammo crates, and containers
Leveling up can require a significant amount of XP. This is because each sprite starts at level 1 and goes up to level 5. Each level requires more XP, but Extract other sprites and eliminate enemies to upgrade your sprite to maximum level in just one battle royale match..
The maximum rank for a sprite is level 5, so once you reach this rank you must immediately extract the sprite and return it safely to the lobby. Failure to do so can be costly. This is because you have to spend Sprite Dust to get it back.
What does leveling up a sprite do in Fortnite?
Increasing the sprite level does two things:
- Adds Sprite Mastery.
- Increases the power of the sprite
Sprites must be leveled up individually. This means you can't just level up one sprite and have your entire collection level up to 5. However, leveling up has its own benefits, as each level adds improvements to your equipped sprite. For example, the Duck Sprite grants +5 Shield per tick instead of +1 when emote/jamming.
Upgrading your sprite will not only give you extra bonuses in Battle Royale, but also earn you additional rewards. Go to the Sprite tab in the lobby and check the Sprite Mastery Rewards tab. Each sprite type you earn up to level 5 rewards you with XP, Sprite Dust, and a Portable Extractor.
