Adaptation is just one of many ways to learn how to survive and adapt on an alien planet. Subnautica 2. Adaptations are genetic mutations that your body undergoes that allow you to adopt alien traits, such as being able to eat and digest the strange marine life here.
This concept will be introduced right from the beginning. That's because one of the first things NoA will do when you wake up is to use the nearby Angel Comb to unlock the ability to breathe high-pressure air. Any further adaptations you can unlock after that are done through the same method, just by finding Angel Combs yourself.
Subnautica 2 is currently in Early Access.. For this reason, there are six adaptations listed in the menu, but the bottom two have not yet been officially added and remain unknown.
All Angel Comb locations
today, There are four adaptations you can unlock. In Subnautica 2, including what you get from the tutorial. you can see them Listed under the Adaptation tab in the in-game menuHowever, you will only see the ones you have unlocked.
That means you only have three angel combs to keep track of on your own, but that's easier said than done. The last two Angel Combs will be infected and you will need two tools to purify them. Before unlocking the adaptation.
One must unlock Thermal Adaptation and: Eliminate 2 Bloom Nodes of the Contagious Canker Bloom.. To do this You'll need to use the Sonic Resonator to blow it up.. Another Angel Comb that requires a similar process is to unlock Axum Vision, but this one has three nodes to eliminate, and each node is infested with two Canker Blooms.
You will know that the node has been deleted when it starts to open.. When all nodes are deleted Canker blooms may remain near the main angel comb. Must be cleared. Once everything is cleared, the Angel Comb will open. If not, you're missing something.
Unfortunately, The Canker Blooms in the final Angel Comb are not the same as the ones you cleared previously. It closes when you approach it. So to erase them, Feedback Resonator upgrade for Sonic Resonator is required.Manufactured at the Modification Station. This way you can shoot them from afar before they get close.
If you're having trouble, the node can be easily found by following the purple Titan Rockbore vines extending from the Angel Comb.
With all of this in mind, we would like to point out the following: The locations of all Angel Combs currently in the game and their nodes, if any..

heat resistance adaptation: Can withstand higher temperatures. 200m west-northwest (300 degrees) of the life pod, water depth 50m. Node locations (requires sonic resonator): The North Node is Lifepod north-northwest (340 degrees) 241m, water depth 17m. The southwestern node is 233 m west-southwest (245 degrees) of the life pod at a depth of 70 m. |
