NTE: The Complete Fishing Guide

Fishing is one of the most enjoyable activities in Neverness to Everness. Here's everything you need to know about this hobby.

How to Start Your Reflection Quest

From NTE's Reflection Quest

You can start the quest at the bridge crossing near the fountain. Hankaku Street. Two NPCs, an excited girl and an angry girl, are discussing rumors of a magic mirror that supposedly shows the future. To officially start the side quest, listen to the dialogue.

This quest is only available after progressing through Prologue II and unlocking the scooter. If the NPC does not appear, continue through the main story until Good Business, Better Treasure is completed, then rest in the dormitory.

All objectives for this quest are:

  • mirror in a vintage store

  • not a mirror

  • Could it be a collectible?

  • washbasin owner

The first objective starts near the fountain area on Hankaku Street in Bridge Crossings. Two girls are talking about a rumor about a magic mirror that is said to reveal the future. To officially start the side quest, listen to the dialogue.

One girl fully believes that the mirror anomaly is real, while another thinks it may be connected to some sort of parallel world phenomenon. This brief interaction sets up the mystery behind the entire quest.

After listening to the conversation, our next stop is Good Joe's Vintage Shop. Go there and talk to Good Joe inside the building. He claims to own the famous mirror everyone's been talking about, but the conversation quickly starts to get suspicious.

The store owner seems more interested in making money from curious customers than proving that the mirror is real.

not a mirror

In NTE it is not a mirror

When you leave the vintage shop, another conversation will automatically start nearby. Two students standing outside continue talking about the so-called 'miracle mirror' and reveal an interesting fact. According to them, the object everyone is looking for may not actually be a mirror.

The goal is updated to send the user in the next direction. Golden Apple Collection Hall, New Herland District. The museum is located about 1.3km northeast of the store, so you can get there much faster using a scooter or fast track.

Inside the hall, look for museum guide Dolores. When the dialogue option appears, talk to her and ask about the mysterious “miraculous vessel”. Dolores explains that she remembers hearing about a strange sink associated with a similar anomaly, although nothing on current display in the museum matches the rumors.

After speaking with Dolores, the investigation into Miguel's sector continues. The next clue points to a grocery store owner named Kookie who supposedly owns the mysterious sink.

From the Golden Apple Collection Hall, head west to reach the Strange Eats grocery store. Enter the store and talk to Cookie behind the counter.

Initially, Kookie will assume that you are a regular customer. Keep asking about the rumor until she finally acknowledges the basin and reluctantly allows you to examine it. She warns them not to spread information about this after the job is done.

The sink itself is located near the right corner of the counter inside the store. Interact with it to begin the next part of the quest.

The basin must be filled with water before actual interaction is possible.

After filling the sink with water, interact with it again to trigger a reflection scene. Instead of showing the current character normally, the water reveals Esper Zero, an alternate version of the heterosexual. This ultimately confirms that the rumors surrounding the anomaly are partially true.

After the cutscene, talk to Kookie again to fully complete the In The Reflection quest.
