Written by One and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, the series follows Saitama, an independent superhero who has trained to the point where he can defeat almost any opponent with a single strike. Bored and frustrated by the lack of challenge, he begins looking for stronger enemies to face, meeting many other heroes along the way. As of August 2025, the manga series has sold over 34 million copies, making it one of the best-selling comics of all time, on par with other hits such as: Chainsaw Man and Freeren: Beyond the end of the journey.

One Punch Man exhibition opens in Tokyo this June
From June 26 to July 20, 2026, One Punch Man The 10th anniversary exhibition will be held at Tokyo Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbo Park. This will allow fans to purchase exclusive merchandise, see original sketches and autographs on display, and taste special themed food. These include the Saitama Burger and Genos' Incineration Cannon Soda, both of which come with a random gift with purchase. Visitors can also insert themselves into popular scenes from the series for photo opportunities. Tickets will go on sale at ASOVIEW on May 21, with a 200 yen discount for the first 6 days to commemorate a specific scene from Season 1, Episode 3.
