that boruto The series has proven to be a divisive sequel to Naruto. It falls short of its predecessor in terms of quality and popularity, which is to be expected. Naruto sets the bar so high that not many series can reach it. boruto As a series, it has quite a few flaws, one of the biggest of which is that it left out quite a few interesting characters, old and new, that fans wanted to see more of. Over time, their roles became so small that they eventually became undeveloped characters in the grand scheme of things.

Naruto: 24 Most Iconic Female Characters
The iconic female characters of the Naruto franchise are well known for their influence on Masashi Kishimoto's popular series.
7
Haruno Sakura
Sakura Haruno is one of the most powerful ninja. boruto At this point. She's in her prime, which gives the writers more reason to put her at the forefront of things. Sure, this manga is about the next generation of ninjas, but Sakura and the others should be involved in the plot more often. Unfortunately, Sakura had very little involvement in the series, which made her an incredibly underwhelming character.
6
Konohamaru Sarutobi
Konohamaru is probably one of the most disappointing games out there. boruto. Fans had high expectations for him in the Naruto series, and he played his small role very well. But in Boruto, I was left perplexed time and time again. It seems like he will continue to be the same, and there seems to be no hope for this character. Even after a three-year time-skip, Konohamaru is still very disappointing. In fact, all of his students have already surpassed him and he is the exact opposite of Kakashi.
5
Mitsuki
Like Konohamaru, Mitsuki was also left out of most matches. boruto It was a series, and he was never allowed a chance to show what he could truly do. The plot surrounding his character was also completely left out, and overall he became one of those characters whose removal from the story didn't have much of an impact on the plot. Hopefully, this will change in the future boruto.
4
Hyuga Hinata
Hinata Hyuuga should have been given a more important role. borutoAnd that goes without saying. She is in many ways a direct descendant of Otsutsuki, and Hinata is Naruto's wife. She is a powerful ninja who was able to do more than just be a housewife in the series. Unfortunately, the writers never saw it that way, and decided to leave her out of the plot entirely, except for those moments in the Uzumaki household where she appears to be a normal mother to her children.

10 Boruto characters who have surpassed Cage level
Boruto's characters are strong, and many of them are beyond Kage's level.
3
team 10
Boruto Team 10 consists of Shikadai Nara, Inojin Yamanaka, and Chocho Akimichi. Except for Inojin, who has recently received attention, these characters were completely excluded and appear to have barely existed in the first part of Boruto. This is very sad, and shows how little the author fleshed out his side characters and their resulting world. In Two Blue Vortex they are given a somewhat more prominent role, but it would be hard to say that they are by no means underwhelming.

rock lee
Rock Lee is another character from the previous generation who was completely left out of Boruto. This is incredibly bizarre, considering he is one of Konoha's most powerful men due to his mastery of the Eight Inner Gates. Fans should have seen Rock Lee at the forefront of things many times, but for some strange reason this has never happened.
Despite a lot of potential and power to offer, Rock Lee ultimately turned into an underwhelming character like many other characters in Boruto.
1
Kakashi Hatake
Kakashi, the Sixth Hokage, may no longer be in his prime, but he is an individual with a lot of experience and, at the same time, power to offer. I can barely see Kakashi. boruto until now. While he may have appeared a few times in the anime, the manga has completely deleted him and it's almost as if he doesn't exist.
Considering he isn't even there, calling him overpowering is a bit misleading. This is especially shocking considering the character's role in the previous work. Fans are hoping that he will show up and play an important role in Boruto to preserve his legacy.
