ARC Raiders release new 1.27.0 update
ARC Raiders PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players can now download patch 1.27.0, which includes numerous bug fixes, general improvements, and new cosmetic items. Players looking to get their hands on the latest character costumes can visit the in-game store to check out the Corsaro Set and Mutton Chops Beard Bundle, priced at 1,600 and 500 Raider Tokens respectively. Regarding bug fixes, Embark fixed an issue where the Turbine's attacks were not visible from a distance and adjusted the visibility of proximity mines deployed from the Turbine. The studio said it has also improved the quality of turbine landing behavior to mitigate instances of poor landing area selection, such as treetops.

Prior to today's update, players who were attacked by a tick while carrying a carry-on would be unable to fight off the tick or drop the item, forcing players to accept their fate. Thankfully, Embark has fixed the issue, confirming that players can now drop their carry-on item and fight off ticks when attacked while carrying something.
Last month's Riven Tides update also brought some major balance changes that fans weren't happy with. Shortly after the patch was applied, the community started a petition to have it reverted. ARC RaidersWeapon durability has changed. Regular weapons now lose 75% of their durability per shot, and advanced weapons lose 50% of their durability per shot. Now that players repair their weapons after almost every match, fans are hoping for some serious changes. The studio hasn't said whether it will revert the durability changes, but today's update includes a note from the team saying they are “exploring balance adjustments to improve upon the changes introduced in Riven Tide.” Embark said the studio wants to get the changes right so players can hear more when they're ready.
