May is officially here, which means it's time for another highly anticipated release. Chief among them is IO Interactive's new James Bond experience, 007 First Light, which adds a new twist to old Bond titles.
007 First Light is scheduled for release on May 27th, and a ton of information and merchandise has been released ahead of its release, including the title track performed by Lana Del Rey. Not only did Del Rey lend her vocals to the song, but IO Interactive kept the Bond tradition alive with a unique title sequence.
But what we haven't learned is how long 007 First Light will last. But as first discovered by Insider Gaming, we now have a good idea ahead of launch.

007: First Light could usher in a new era of licensed video games
After listening to IO Interactive's explanation of Bond for a few hours, I was ready for more.
007 First Light promises a meaty experience
In a new video from YouTuber JorRaptor based on conversations with members of the development team, 007 First Light will last around 20 hours, give or take.
Of course, depending on your play style, that number may go up or down. Speed runners or those playing on lower difficulties can clock up to 15 hours, while harder runs can take longer. Not to mention the game's list of trophies and achievements, which may have their own requirements.
On paper, those numbers are pretty great, and they stand out even more when you compare 007 First Light to other action games.
For example, the longest Uncharted game is 15 hours (Uncharted 4) and the shortest is The Lost Legacy (7 hours). According to HowLongToBeat, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's main campaign averaged about 16 hours, while the more recent Tomb Raider trilogy never exceeded 13 hours and 30 minutes.
Among the new releases, 007 First Light will stand out. Pragmata is about an 11-hour game, Resident Evil Requiem is about the same time, but like Bond, that time can stretch depending on different play styles.
Of course, game length isn't everything, and there are some titles that last longer than you'd expect, and some shorter ones that stand out. But considering how much games cost these days, it's good to know that 007 First Light will have a significant advantage.
