Resident Evil Requiem director says Leon will still appear in the game.

Leon Kennedy's appearance as a playable character in Resident Evil Requiem was one of gaming's best kept secrets. However, given that he is approximately 50 years old at Requiem, there were concerns that this would be his final game, retiring him from future activities.

Now, months after Requiem's release, it seems Capcom has no plans to have Leon in future games, at least not without taking his age into account. Game director Koshi Nakanishi told Eurogamer that there are no plans to replace Leon with a younger face, and even mentioned the possibility of Leon appearing in the game even when he is in his 70s.

Don't worry. Leon isn't too old for Resident Evil.

“Whenever we come out with a new game and we decide to put it out here, it’s not an ironclad rule that we have to get everyone’s age right,” Nakanishi told Eurogamer. He added that there are no plans to replace older characters with younger ones. “We don’t really think in those terms.”

Especially when you touch Leon, he definitely seems to have more fight in him. Nakanishi said, “I think Leon is really attractive in his current form.” “Who knows if we can bring him back when he’s 70? And I’m sure he’ll still remain a great character.”

To say that Leon is “charming” in his current form is an understatement. Fans are crazy about this version of Leon, and maybe they'd like to see him get a little older. The story is clearly not over for him either. First off, we need to settle the debate about who he's actually married to.

But of course it should be mentioned that the same grace is rarely extended to female characters. Fans were disappointed that not only was Claire absent from Requiem, but she wasn't mentioned at all despite Cherry being in the same game. She did make a few cameos as weapon accessories, but this was done with her younger character model, taking away the milf Claire to complement dilf Leon.

Ada Wong was also conspicuous by her absence, and we haven't seen the older Jill yet either. As for the latter, they've already explained it away with anti-aging nonsense, but the male cast doesn't seem to have that problem at all and we're still waiting for the women to look a little older.

Fingers crossed that Leon's story continues means that female characters from his prime will also appear, just as wrinkled. please.
