SMG-203 Gallant

SMG-203 Gallant

  • Damage: 65

  • Capacity: 50 people

  • Recoil: 15

  • Rate of Fire: 1,380

SMG-203 Gallant is a basic SMG weapon capable of penetrating heavy armor. This weapon has a reasonable range compared to an SMG and an extreme rate of fire to back it up, but it completely pierces bullets (not a good thing).

I wasn't a fan of this weapon and found its SMG/assault rifle hybrid action to be underwhelming compared to other classic choices, leaving the Gallant as the best-kept weapon in my loadout.

bullet storm

bullet storm

  • Call time: 7.75 seconds

  • Usage: Unlimited

  • Cooldown time: 67 seconds

Bullet Storm is a support weapon strategy capable of penetrating light armor. This weapon cannot be reloaded and has only one magazine. However, these magazines are very large, so even if you consume a lot of ammo, you will likely be killed before you run out of ammo.

Unfortunately, Light-Armor Penetration makes Bullet Storm very unconvincing unless you're looking for a weapon to take down enemies as squishy as an overwhelming swarm of bugs. A lightweight light machine gun that is virtually useless against heavier units, but allows for much faster movement speed and increased survivability.

  • Armor Passive: Oxygen Concentrator (Increases the wearer's walking and running speed. Increases slide speed and duration.)

  • Armor Level: 50

  • Speed: 550

  • Health Regeneration: 125

0-3 Free Spirit comes with Oxygenator Passive, which increases walk and run speed along with slide speed and duration. This makes you a speed demon, and if you like Light Armor because of its speed advantage, you'll also like this armor thanks to its passive.

lumberer

lumberer

  • Call time: 10.50 seconds

  • Uses: 3

  • Cooldown time: 570 seconds

The Lumberer is an anti-tank exosuit strategy and is literally great to use. The Lumberer has an anti-tank cannon on his right arm and an incendiary flamethrower on his left arm. Combine this and you have an exosuit capable of extremely lethal long-range and close-range combat.

The anti-tank weapon (25 shells) is great for taking out larger enemies, and the flamethrower is a lot of fun for setting small enemies ablaze that dare rush at the Exo. The flamethrower burns and kills a bit slower, but is still a very fun strategy.

P-33 missile pistol

P-33 missile pistol

  • Damage: 1,300

  • Capacity: 1

  • Recoil: 313

  • Rate of Fire: 60

The P-33 missile pistol is guided, so it can be aimed at the enemy for automatic missile guidance. It's a rocket pistol, but since it's a heavy armor-piercing weapon, the actual damage is overwhelming.

Requiring to reload after every shot and holding up to three bullets, the P-33 missile pistol is quite underwhelming and feels like the Ultimatum, the less inspired younger brother of the Nuke pistol. This weapon is not recommended as reload and lock are too slow and weak.

0-2 Heavy Operator

0-2 Heavy Operator

  • Armor Passive: Oxygen Concentrator (Increases the wearer's walking and running speed. Increases slide speed and duration.)

  • Armor Rating: 150

  • Speed: 450

  • Health Regeneration: 50

The 0-2 Heavy Operator has the Oxygen Generator passive, just like the 0-3 Free Spirit. However, this is heavy armor and while the extra sprint speed is a fun addition to giving a walking tank more speed, it has a much bigger passive. If you use Heavy Armor, this passive does not change the way you play or add experience.

breakthrough

breakthrough

  • Call time: 10.50 seconds

  • Uses: 3

  • Cooldown time: 570 seconds

Breakthrough is another exosuit. However, this exosuit is a close-quarters attack fighter with heavy armor penetration. Breakthrough is equipped with a shield and cannons, both of which are perfect for giving you a very fun and powerful exosuit.

Shields are great for bashing enemies and throwing them away. This means crowd control is a true crowd pleaser as you spam your melee attacks to push back enemies and protect your allies with your durable shield. The cannon is like a mid-range shotgun, capable of taking out most enemies, but without the explosive power. That means you can't wipe out a colony or nest.

Medium armor for the Exo Experts set can be purchased from the Superstore for 250 Super Credits.

Would you recommend Exo Experts Warbond in Helldivers 2?

  • Personally, I will never get Exo Experts Warbond.. I explain my reasoning below.

approval

Warbond is a lot of fun, and Exosuits offers a more humorous power fantasy rather than being a slave to the meta. Both exosuits are largely aimed at providing fun. I like the armor passive, but the added speed buff seems insignificant compared to other powerful passives.

Warbond itself is another new addition that adds deeper variety, especially for veterans looking for new items to use in the galactic war.

disadvantage

The weapon isn't really that good. Previous Warbonds had some great meta-saving weapons, but Exo Experts' weapons aren't powerful enough to be part of my loadout, either because there are too many Warbonds or because they're too meta-obsessed.

I don't like the weapon, it's underpowered by the missile pistol. The lock-on gimmick is unique, but it's so underpowered that I won't be switching from Ultimatum anytime soon. This Warbond definitely has some fun loadouts, but the higher the difficulty, the more seriously you tend to take your loadouts.

If you want more content in Helldivers 2, be sure to purchase Exo Experts! It's fun. They are not as strong as previous war bonds.
