All For One has been evil incarnate from the beginning. However, the depth Horikoshi added to him through his backstory in the last issue made him more interesting as a character. At the end of My Hero Academia, All For One returns after being defeated by Bakugo and takes control of Shigaraki in one of the most hyped final battles of the past few years. His death was satisfying and translated perfectly into the animation.

His power was equal to that of a god at the end of the series, and especially expressed through his ideals as the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, made him very special.
