Upon hearing this, the calm and unflappable Great Evil loses his cool and orders Neyrelle to stop, accidentally and unknowingly killing her in the process. Mephisto briefly mourns not being able to send her back, but is clearly shaken by how many prophecies of his fate she discovers. It's clear that Mephisto is pulling out all the stops in this expansion. If you watch from the first 12 minutes Diablo 4: Lord of HatredFans will have to battle not only his demonic followers and cultists, but also the followers of Akarat, whom he has tricked. But thanks to Neyrelle's sacrifice, The Wanderer has a clue on how to stop him once and for all. That means they'll have to work with Lilith, the Daughter of Hatred and the antagonist of the base game, to obtain this prophesied weapon that likely has something to do with her.
