All animal companions (and how to unlock, upgrade and use them)

As Melinoe battles her way to the Underworld. hades 2She meets several animal companions who can help her defeat the Time Giant and save her family. These animals can fight alongside her in battle, farm for better materials, and provide passive buffs to Melinoe herself.

However, Melinoe can only take one familiar with him whenever he passes through the surface or underworld. Players will need to choose their favorite companions wisely and figure out which companions best suit their current build and which companions can help them gather much-needed materials.

Unlock Familiar Friends in Hades 2

A few steps to complete first

Melinoë must cast a spell at the Cauldron in the Crossroads to unlock the familiar. Specifically, what players need is Animist Spell.
