All Bow Challenges in the Crimson Desert

All Bow Challenges in the Crimson Desert

Here's where to find all six bow challenges in Crimson Desert and how to easily complete them to receive unique rewards.

The first three two-handed weapon challenges can be completed with Cliff with a longsword (purchased from the Gear Shop and Blacksmith). However, the last three can only be completed with Unkar, which is unlocked in chapter 7 of the main quest, as they require either a club or an axe.

How to Get and Complete Overwhelming Slash I in Crimson Desert

  • How to Obtain: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Relic located west of Drakesfall Gorge, northeast of “D” in “Hernand”.

  • Challenge: Attack 3 enemies at once with a longsword when health is below 50%.

  • Reward: 1 Artifact of the Abyss

In this challenge, allow yourself to be injured to get below 50% health. This can be easily done by having enemies attack you or by simply jumping + taking falling damage with Triple Force Palm. Make sure your armor is sturdy enough in case your health gets too low!

Make sure you have Kliff's Longsword, which can be purchased from the Equipment Shop. Now, to easily attack 3 enemies at once, when surrounded by enemies, use the Spinning Slash (R1+X/RB+A) attack to attack in a 180 degree cone.

How to Obtain and Complete Overwhelming Slash II in Crimson Desert

  • How to Obtain: Obtain from the Sealed Abyss Relic located north of the Golden Gallop Racecourse, north of the first “S” in “Demenis”.

  • Challenge: Kill 3 enemies with a longsword finisher without taking damage.

  • Reward: Artifact of the Abyss x1, Insight I x1

Make sure you are still using the longsword as Kliff to complete this challenge. All you have to do in this challenge is kill enemies a total of 3 times, one at a time, without taking any damage.

You need to hold down R1 to perform a finisher that attacks your enemy. When health gets low enough, the last R1 starts the finisher. The finisher doesn't activate with heavy attacks and turning slashes, so make sure you're using R1 and parry.

How to Obtain and Complete Overwhelming Slash III in Crimson Desert

  • How to Obtain: Obtain from the Sealed Abyss Relic located between the first “N” and “A” of “Hernand”, Haunted Hill, south of Hernand Ruins.

  • Challenge: Push back 10 enemies with a longsword within 30 seconds.

  • Reward: 1 Artifact of the Abyss

This is the last two-handed weapon challenge you can complete with Kliff, so make sure you still have the longsword. If you have Turning Slash level 3 in your skill, it's very easy to push back 10 enemies because it ignores super armor and blows enemies away.

Gather enemies at a camp or any sanctuary that needs to be liberated, and use Turning Slash (R1+R2/RB+RT) repeatedly to inflict massive knockback on enemies, and repeat the attack 10 times within the 30 second time limit.

As mentioned above, the next three challenges can only be completed with Oongka. Because only Oongka can carry a two-handed club or axe. He automatically has a two-handed axe, but it doesn't unlock until Chapter 7.

How to Obtain and Complete Ground Shaking Impact I in Crimson Desert

  • How to Obtain: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Relic located southeast of Fort Perwin on the Echoes Cliffs, in the southernmost region of Hernand in “A”.

  • Challenge: Use a two-handed club or ax to hit an enemy 30 times within 30 seconds.

  • Reward: 1 Artifact of the Abyss

This challenge is easier than you think, and you don't even need to invest in Unca. Equip the included two-handed axe and find enemy-infested locations like shrines across the map.

Lure enemies into a group, then spam R1 and R2 attacks for 30 seconds until you score a total of 30 hits. You don't need a total of 30 enemies, just 30 attacks over 30 seconds.

How to Obtain and Complete Ground Shaking Impact II in Crimson Desert

  • How to obtain: Obtain from the Sealed Abyss Relic located on the road to Skoghorn, west of “A” in “Failun”.

  • Challenge: Kill 10 enemies with a two-handed club or axe without taking damage.

  • Reward: Artifact of the Abyss x1, Insight II x1

For this challenge, you'll need to keep hold of Unka and his two-handed axe. You need to kill 10 enemies without getting hit, so take a detour and go back to Hernan. Enemies in this area will be much weaker.

Look for camps in need of liberation in Hernand, which are usually noticed by the Bleed Bandits. Grab one enemy at a time and use dodge and parry to eliminate 10 enemies one by one without getting hit once.

How to Obtain and Complete Ground Shaking Impact III in Crimson Desert

  • How to Obtain: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Relic located southwest of Torvak Camp, just north of the second “N” of “Hernand” by the lake leading to Pailune.

  • Challenge: Push back 5 flying enemies at once using a two-handed club or axe.

  • Reward: Artifact of the Abyss x1, Destruction II x1

This challenge can be a bit frustrating, but it can be accomplished in just a few tries. First, make sure you have Quick Swap, a skill unlocked in Armed Combat (Ungka). This is a wide attack that occurs when you press L1+L2 and can push enemies away.

Head towards the enemy camp. Preferably in Demenis, where there are a lot of enemies and they usually stick together in large groups (especially before Chapter 9 of the main quest). Group your enemies together and then use Quick Swap (L1+L2) to knock them back, and if done correctly you'll be hitting 5 at once.
