Crimson Desert will address the lack of enemies, storage issues, and lack of companion skills

Crimson Desert launched with a few issues, including confusing controls and difficult boss fights, but Pearl Abyss has improved with each update. Previous updates have further improved movement controls and certain combat issues, but it looks like the developers aren't done yet. The studio has released a list of improvements it will make over the coming months.

These are all issues that players have been complaining about, the biggest one being that once you start liberating areas you run out of enemies. Players found that enemy presence and patrols were virtually undetected. This means that very little fighting occurs. This is the problem Pearl Abyss aims to solve.

“Today we’re here to share a preview of some of the new features and content currently in development, including plenty of content for those looking for more ways to enjoy the game and those looking for more of a challenge,” the blog post says. “Our goal is to roll out these updates gradually from April to June.”

The first major point concerns combat. To address the frustration of the world feeling empty, the developers included two ideas to scratch the combat itch later in the game. First, you can have a rematch with the boss. It's a great way to see how much you've grown since you fought the previous boss.

Next is the relock system, which allows your enemies to retake the fortresses you have liberated. This system ensures that you always have a stronghold to capture and hordes of enemies to fight if you want. Crimson Desert will soon also add difficulty options, allowing you to choose between Easy, Normal, and Hard. This phrase suggests that you can change the difficulty level at any time.

These are all complaints seen on Reddit, Twitter and other forums over the past week.

In terms of characters, Damian and Unka finally gained 'force palm, a skill comparable to Axiom Force'. It won't be the same as Cliff's, but it will be “a new ability equivalent to that skill.” You can also hide weapons on your back and get new outfits.

Other improvements include more specialized storage for food, clothing, ingredients and ingredients, and quest items. There will also be more mounts and other UI, controller, and graphics improvements.
